Waiting on my 250 to come in, dealer called a couple weeks ago and told me July. Quoted me $8350 OTD. No other dealer had a ship date or price. Anyone else been quoted?
That’s a great price what dealership is that if you don’t mind me asking
Another test on a perfectly smooth prepped track….. tells the consumer nothing about the bike in race conditions

July? They've been on every dealer showroom floor in Quebec for almost two weeks now. RWE will be a lot later, August/September
When does the media test the 450?
I think the New 2025 450RWE needs to hang out at my shop…and the “RX”…too.
Be interesting to see other tests, other tracks, etc.
those welds on the frame look ugly as sin
Everyone: "Hey maybe you could increase the offset of the clamps to calm the bike down a bit. Pretty cheap and easy and majority if people would be happy with it"
Honda: "No, actually we will spend a couple milly to tell everyone how stupid they are and the frame is too soft and that makes it feel stiff. Better add some bracing to make it stiffer. Also, make the forks softer so it feels even more unstable going into turns. That should do it"
When 450f test will be out?
maybe actually ride the bike first before saying they don't know what they are doing?
Maybe the WE, will be the ticket,
Pit Row
Those radiator shrouds make it a horribly fugly abomination of a bike.
Glad I sold my '23 while the resale was good and got another YZ250. I'll gladly pop-in a new tranny every 40 hours versus riding that hideous beast.
Put down a deposit on a 250 WE. Vortex ECU, FC revalve, some T4. That will be the closest I’ll ever get, and should get, to a factory bike.
I assume I’ll have to go up a spring rate but people seem pretty happy with the stock rates. I’m 160, but I went up a rate on the 2024 and it was much better.
Won’t be long till the cats out of the bag on how they handle. Houston dealers have stock number on their websites and show in stock but I doubt they are. Probably on order.
The brief test I read. I think it’s posted top of this thread and on facebook. Didn’t blow my dress up, I need to watch it again along with a more comprehensive test.
Our first bike scheduled to be shipped on the 16th, should be here soon.
Cincinnati, Ohio
Maybe current 24 could benefit new clamps and stiffer fork bodies as well?
Not convinced at all by these "first test"....almost same engine, and they've solved handling problems that "did not exist" on the same first test of the 2022 gen , but miraculously appear later whith shootouts and real life reports !
You are a consumer, buy it and we'll tell you the thruth later, and thank you for watching !
I’m too big for a 250, so I’m not the target customer anyway, but I found it strange that all the riders at the press launch had so many favorable things to say about the bike when nothing was done to change the biggest complaint they had last year. I don’t recall many test riders complaining about the handling last year. As I recall, everyone just said it needed to be faster, and the engine is basically unchanged.
The new air box and exhaust added almost 2 horsepower...
I did find it funny that all the sudden they said the 2024 could not turn well in some circumstances. I guess it's all relative, and happy to hear the Honda still turns like a Honda.
I’ve thought more than once about throwing a set of Luxon clamps on my 23. I even called Billy at Luxon and asked question. I’ll wait and see what the skinny is on the 25’s and if not significantly better I’ll call Billy at Luxon back with a credit card in my hand.
Is the frame the same as the '24? It's mentioned on the test that the subframe has been repositioned, and the top subframe mounts look like someone hacksawed them off then rewelded them slightly back a bit..
Same geometry I think if you were to trace it, but some areas have been strengthened and the subframe as you point out is definitely different.
We have one on the showroom floor someone come get it
