I have been riding at Swan since 1976 and have seen many changes (owners, track, etc.), some good, some not so good. The current owners seem to be nice people and have really improved the facility, but do not have a clue how to prep and set up the track. Most of my friend group doesn't even consider riding practice days or racing there anymore, nor do I. The dirt and elevation are perfect for motocross, but when the track design doesn't flow it's no fun. Hopefully it sells to someone that loves moto, knows how to prep a track...

I was talking to some buddies and we haven't been down with these new owners. They said they had heard everything got really peaky and it just wasn't as fun before. You laying out the prep and everything probably answers why they are quitting so soon. Running a racetrack is a horrible pain. I've done it won't ever do it again. Just hate to see such a nice big facility like that disappear.
