I've never criticized anyone for being a robot but theres pretty clear evidence that being humble gets you more fans and that might translate to sponsors.
He looks so much like Barcia 2.0 to me. How can you not see it? He's really fun to watch outdoors. He doesn't flow as well indoors. Which is a little crazy since he's probably been riding sx tracks since he was on 65s.

As he said in an interview, he raced outdoors since he was little, but rode sx since he was a little. There’s a difference between racing something and practicing it. MX comes more natural to him because he’s known how to race it for so long, SX took a little bit for him to figure out because he wasn’t used to mini race days at the practice track like they do at star.
I can assure you money played a huge role in him getting where he is today. I agree that he still has to have the talent, the discipline and the drive to win...and he has all of that. BUT, there are lots of talented kids who will never have access to what he had to help get him where he is. That is also NOT why he isn't liked by some (or many). That has literally nothing to do with it. It is because of his personality, his comments on and off the podium. Eli Tomac had access to all that Deegan did, he won right away as well, he did NOT act like Deegan though. Same scenario, two very different outcomes as far as class and personality are concerned. Eli Tomac is a class act. A professional in all aspects of the term.

I think it makes Deegan look stupid and obnoxious when he talks like that, but regardless of what you think of the comment….Peter Park is loving it. He will print this in big bold letters and frame it for Training camp for next season. He’s going to have Levi fucking ready, fitness wise, like you have never seen him for 2025.
He's awesome and he lives up to the hype, imo. He gets flack for having all the advantages in life but I think he's been so good, so quickly in his career from hard word. He had all those advantages AND he outworked his competition. I don't see him ever beating Jett when he moves up because he can't just outwork him. Jett is the the highest level of talent plus hard work

Yeah, this season and future seasons will be exciting, at some point during one of the 250 motos, i kept saying why is he so patient and not going all out. He has improved massively since last year, and will only keep getting better on track, off track, and interviews.
The rich boy tag gets thrown at him. But frankly it shows how much he takes this seriously that he didn't rest on his laurels and mail it in. Not to pile on Evan Ferry but just look at the flip side of a similar situation and what Evan has made with all the advantages
Another unnecessary statement from Deegan that shows he’s a punk in my opinion. If you think your that great, let the riding do the talking. I’d bet/hope it just motivates Levi.
I've known lots of people that were "hard" or "core" in my 67 years, 99.9% of them didn't need a mouth like Deegan to prove it.

That’s a naive comment if you know fitness and the fact Levi is fit…and fast as hell….but… He can just be more fit and not so skinny. It's because once the season starts….you are where you are for your base fitness and you can’t do much to change it mid season. The off season/training camp is where you make big progress and make deposits in your fitness account to get through the season. If you listen to PP talk about his athletes…. Chase = totally motivated and almost too fit. Tom = no way a 55 year old (triathlete) is beating me up this hill(needs to be reigned in to keep target heart rates). Levi = needs motivation to work his heart rate up and to try to gain some weight for the season fitness bank account. This will help PP for that motivation….and I say next year because that’s when this will be most useful…not because he can’t win this season. He will beat Deegan some this year. The title will go to the one that has the most tracks that favor that rider. I would not bet against Levi…but did pick Deegan for Pala in my fantasy picks. That track favored Deegan. It going to be a good season to watch.

I think barcia won Southwick in 2009 with crazy weather and didn’t win another national again until 2012 at Lakewood with like a 1-3. I think maybe he won one more national at budds creek?
