I was in Mexico last week and tried to watch Nashville, but peacock said the broadcast was not available in Mexico.🤔

I kinda like it. Its ONLY 1 lap of the 250lcq. Rios and the other guy have a good vibe and its fun to listen to.

Its 60 seconds of a 3 hour show. That's 0.5% of the show. You will live. Contrary to popular belief, people outside of the English speaking world enjoy motorsports. 

It's a virtue signal.  They want everyone to know they also broadcast in Spanish.

Spanish, Taft, sounds the same, unlistenable. 

They’re advertising to Spanish speaking people watching on NBC that there is a Spanish broadcast they could watch… like the other guy commented, it’s .5% of the broadcast, in the 250 lcq even lol

Is this the first year these guys are broadcasting this sport? If so, I’m impressed. I’m not fluent but spent a bit of time in South America. These guys are clear, concise and don’t go on wild tangents. RC should take some notes. 

“Speak English or I’ll beat you up” is pretty problematic. Peace be with you, sheesh.

I am willing to bet they are not getting the audience numbers they were expecting in the Spanish broadcast, this is an effort (like it or not) to bring more awareness that it exists.  I see no harm in the commentators talking about it and saying it is there for folks that would prefer Spanish, but if they keep repeating part of the show (regardless of duration) in Spanish, it will start to look like desperation and get old - this is an English speaking country, I seriously doubt soccer events in England are broadcasted in Hindi.  

Getting upset about it is a bit overkill, but if it keeps repeating, it will get old.

F1TV supports multiple languages, and they don't have to make a big deal about it because their fans are apparently smart enough to self-select their preferred language.
