2/23/2026 7:46am Its all about ratios. They cant record wider than they are shooting. So if the camera is only set for 16:9 ratio, you cant stretch it out further. So with what you have in photo 2 wouldn't work because that ratio would be closer to 21:9 and they don't shoot in that ratio. I don't know of any TV broadcast...

Is SMX a gimmick? I don’t really care. It gives us three more races that aren’t your ordinary sx/mx tracks. I could sit here and complain about it but I’d rather just enjoy the three extra races. I’m willing to bet the same people that are complaining about everything are still going to watch the last two races anyway.

You'll see more in the video but they gave him a 3 minute slot to talk about his SupercrossU project and was told he can't do any commentary on the riders/qualifying. He said he didn't want to just show up and shill his product for 3 minutes and bounce.

Armchair psych trigger warning... he's got some npd or significant narcissism. Grew up with a mother that busted his ass on the daily and provided very conditional praise only. He self worth was directly tied to how he rode. That's been his whole life. Always had a chip on his shoulder despite being the best from early on. Great analysis and sharing that video. I'm at a loss for words after watching that video. It made me appreciate DB even more and lost a lot of respect for Ricky for how he belittled DB on camera. I wonder what it was like off-camera for DB.
