He jumps on tough blocks no problem
A rival jumps on a tough block a land mine goes off.
he overshoots or comes up wildly short? no problem
rival cartwheel violent explosion
jett jump clear off the track , no issues.
in 3rd place? No problem roczens bike will ejecto seat him and Tomac will get held up By a pileup. Here’s the Red Sea parting for you my majesty.
countless others, his luck is wildly impressive!
It will run out at the least opportunistic time…oui oui oui
Honda luck will run out soon, and when it does...it won't be pretty. You can't "break the RC Honda curse" and not expect another 20 years curse.
Have you ever thought that when something happens so routinely, it’s not luck?
He’s had some big mistakes and big crashes and bounces back up, part of that is undeniably luck.
Tomac blows out his hip by over jumping a section by 4 inches not even crashing, and Jett can launch himself into the ground and pop back up no injury.
jumping off the track because of a huge squirrelly mistake and riding it out, absolutely part of that is luck.

You make your own luck.
The curse got its ass kicked last summer.
During the first half of the season, I was expecting one of these mistakes to result in a major injury. The more that I've watched him the more I believe that he is seeing things that other people don't and that his reaction time is simply next level. He's not immune to a crash or injury, but I feel like he has an insane natural ability that prevents these mistakes from ending his season.
Cue nrosso's negativity about anyone other than Tomac.
You really believe in the juju? The curse?
Honda could not replace Ricky hence the lack of Championships...simple as that.
Some of it is luck, some of it is skill. But no one is "invincible" forever.
I actually thought the same thing about HD38, last race with the spin loop that almost took him out and then this weekend with going off the track and using the jump going the wrong-way to jump back on the track without going down. Quick reaction and body placement on the bike can avoid potential disasters.
lol, curses, conspiracies, luck. You guys are fucking kooks.
He’s young and in shape. You bounce way better like that.
A little luck, a LOT of talent and you get a guy that wins a lot, survives the moments and minimizes injuries. We have that now, and I don't see it going away any time soon.
If he starts in the top 5, he's got a great shot at winning. The speed and aggression is there for all to see.
Ah...c'mon ML..
How can anybody not look at the bad luck he has had in the races he did not win this year? Crashing in the sand when he was close to Webb, running into riders , coming up short and hurting his hand, Barcia running into him, Etc. I'm sure some of it was good luck in Nashville ,but a lot of it could also be learning from the times he has had bad luck. And learning how to react so he can ride out of a mistake or minimize them.
I know Jett is on an entirely different level, but when I was really into MTB's ,I would setup all kinds of drills that I would go through to to learn how to feel and react to as many potential things as I could . It is not crazy to think that a rider at that level might just be practicing coming up short, landing on tough blocks, etc. So that when things go wrong, he is able to know how to ride out of them and also avoid getting into them. I imagine that if I thought of something like that as a 16 year old kid that just loved riding his bike , that somebody that is around him, and at his level could also . I know it would be risky to practice some of those things. But really so is everything until You get a feel for it.
Come on man, half the reason we even have a title fight right now is because Barcia T-Boned the ever living hell out of him in St Louis. Like it or not, "luck" has always been a part of motorsports.
Then please explain Chase Sexton
Pit Row
Luck will run out one day.
I think his mechanics or ergonomics on the bike are a big contribution to his being to ride out of those near crashes. The guy that developed the Foundation Training deal took a look at Jett and never having even met him said his posture on the bike was as close to perfect as it gets. That greatly increases his control on the bike.
Like a couple posts up said, what was Barcia's t-bone? It's only bad luck when you get an injury and miss races? The same guys on here, and I don't mean you, have been saying since A1 "oh his luck is gonna run out." Every week it's the same thing. I guess if you say it enough it will eventually be true and they can jump on here immediately and say I told you so
You have a short memory...
He's crashed in the past, he will crash in the future!
😂😂 boiii vital starting remind of the wwe viewers tht still think wrasslin is real
11-0 outdoors your rookie 450 Mx season is not luck. Leading your rookie 450 sx season championship is not luck. Everyone else is lucky he’s had adversity the last few rounds. They are lucky they still have a shot at the title lmao.
Physical Strength
No major injuries
Proper trainer
Extreme talent
Positive attitude
Proper parents.
Decent bike.
You just cannot fucking beat that list of strengths.
Until he gets hurt or bored, no one will stop him from winning on a regular basis.
I would love to see Jett go over to MXGP for maybe one race and go 1-1 Before Prado leaves. most GP riders I hear about already have mentioned that they don't think they could not hang with the guy on the track.
I just cannot imagine how much cash HRC and AlpineStars will have to pony up for the next contract. He is the Ohtani of Moto...
And the reflexes, balance and athleticism.
Look At Roczen’s crash (plenty of videos and pics). A mortal would have wondered what happened. Kennys hanging on, and seems to have some say in the dismount.
One of the trainers described MTB riding with Jet, and claimed “his balance is off the scale”
He will be on Ducati for his next contract.
It's no different than you guys repeatedly posting no one will beat Jett. Jett gets beat and it's only because the other guys got lucky.
No one will beat Webb, he is the greatest.
I just wanted to see what it felt like typing that.
Weird you quote my post and all I said was he's actually had bad luck and not the couple guys in this thread who actually said he can't be beat. Which I've never said
Post a reply to: Jett’s plot armor is impressive
