Yes, vaille for sure.  But that's it I'd say.

Obviously more we don't know, because he's a first year guy who seems like he might have something in supercorss.

I randomly started playing Supercross 3 the game, and it was so wild seeing the KTM 250 Group, and how they dropped their riders so quickly

KTM

Shane Mcelrath | 2015-2019 | pretty solid

Jordon Smith | 2017-2019 | short career with the group

Sean Cantrell | 2017-2019 | short career

Mitchell Falk | 2018-2019 | short career

Husky

Thomas Covington | 2019 | short career

Michael Mosiman | 2017-2020  | pretty solid

Jordan Nailey | 2018-2019  | short career

70% of their riders didn't have much of a career with ktm/husq, which seems very strange.

Obviously, some of their riders might have chosen to go somewhere else, but it just seemed so strange to me playing the game and 4 of the rider's careers already being over.

Hopefully this is sarcasm? If not a bit over the top.  As much as I respect pro guys I’m not going to let their hiring and firing dictate what I ride and race on a weekend 😂.

It’s a little over the top yes but man they are rough on their riders.

My guess Rodger is making the calls.  Riding at that level is a tough game, results are expected or your gone.  It like that in many industries.

The pecking order from Pro to Amateur is Roger, Ian, Nathan Ramsey, Daniel Blair in that order.  Prob Ian or Roger making a comment on that level.

As per the PulpMX St. Louis review show, apparently KTM is unimpressed with Julien's performance this year and "needs to do better".

Isn't that wild? They bump this dude up to the pro ranks earlier than planned and are already ready to write him off halfway through SX. Strangest team ever. I thought JuJu has shown a lot of promise so far this year. What do they expect?

Crazy... Not sure what they were expecting.
He's doing pretty much the same as Bennick and better than any other rookie. Hopefully Davi can talk some sense into them. But if not I'm sure there's space under a green or blue tent for him

You're saying Star Yamaha has a cap on how many riders they can have ?

If I had to guess, I'd say 22, so they can have all bikes in the main 😁

I feel like Steve is confusing or mishearing information on Tallon Hawkins with Juju. On the vital review show Lewis speaks about Hawkins being on the chopping block for support, all smiles for juju

He seems like he gets tired midway through a race.  Get him on a PC or Star program and he'll be a winner.  The kid has talent to burn and isn't afraid.

Beaumer passes for the lead in one of the Triple Crown races last weekend.

KTM: "Maybe we should fire him."

When do they kick Roger D. from the team? Asking for a friend

He was faster on the Yamaha. But Star didn't "have the room" for him? Yet 1 year later Star has 8 riders on Pro 250's with Towers turning pro after Loretta's to make 9. Unless he didn't pass the fitness test that Star does...just like what happened to Evan Ferry.

Any chance there may be character or personality conflicts at play? Maybe KTM is too stringent or pushes too hard in the wrong way, or makes for a polarizing environment? Maybe Julien resists or pushes back a bit and that has caused conflict for not towing the rope or being seen as not a team player? We have all had to deal with bosses, managers or work environments where we have bumped heads that may affect our performance or make for a shitty work environment that demoralizes you. Maybe be something like that going on. Performance on the bike is only half the equation.

Not the case, I heard he didn't want to compete with deegan knowing how fast he was. Something like that.

kTM is still a good bike.
There's another side to the story.

Julien will be fine and so will kTM, and so will you.

Do you think the KTM group are happy with Cochranes futures results? Remember he and Deegan were head butting on superminis as well.

A lot of these amateur kids are halfway burnt out by the time they go pro.

I feel too many of these teams see rich parents and think talent.

Yeh I don’t see it. To me he’s just a placeholder for Lucas Coenan. If Lucas is ready to come next year he’ll have to find a ride, if not and he improves outdoors, then he’ll have another year to prove himself. The kid is not 16 and is not setting the world on fire, he’s got a highly sought after spot. They have Vialle who is currently winning races and is a favorite for MX.

But one of you should call Roger and tell him how if you were in charge, you would have kept paying Falk/Bailey/Cantrell/Vohland/Smith/Mosiman and they wouldda been champ by now!

To be fair, he passed for the lead on lap one, and then 8 minutes later was 15 seconds down in 6th.

I think you guys are jumping to conclusions a bit tho…ktm will keep him through his contract, like they have with everyone else. But if he doesn’t get results (see max vohland), he will be on to a new ride. It’s pretty simple.

You’re right he’s not 16…he’s 17 and showing pretty solid talent as a rookie learning the big show. Is he the next coming of Mc? I mean so far no but he’s got a solid enough start for a rookie that wasn’t “supposed” to be the next generational guy that he deserves at least another year…you don’t get results you get dropped sure but damn man ready to drop a rider that’s clearly showing progress and potential after only literal rookie season? That’s a pretty dumb decision. Jett Lawrence had 1 podium finish his rookie season, and only 3 top 5s and I’d say he’s having a pretty solid career since Honda decided to support him instead of kick him to the curb..

I understand where you’re coming from but look at someone like McAdoo. Dude retired because he had no offers and was driving an RV for Christian Craig… fast forward to current day and he has the Red plate for PC Kawasaki.

I see this more as a repeated, short sighted flub KTM keeps doing more than anything else if they’re really thinking Julien is underperforming.
