Now imagine if tracks were built around bikes closer to that limit, and we all were on equal footing. We would all be pushing so hard, and having an absolute blast. We are our own worst enemies in some ways. We all “need” 450s for the start. Tracks grow to suit the capabilities of the 450s in the a riders hands. I wish 125 only vet classes would become a thing. That’s peak moto. Nothing more nothing less.

Does anyone happen to have any pictures of the Guts 13mm taller seat on a '23+ SXF? Not a fan of the 30mm taller, but interested if anyone has experience with how the 13mm taller compares to the stock height.

After a season with both a '23 350 SXF and '24 KX450 I have made the decision to commit to the 350. I am willing to spend some money to get the most comfort out of the 350, since I do not see myself upgrading for a couple of years. Unless there are some significant advances in the next gen 350 or a Japanese manufacturer releases one. I agree with several of the previous posts. Personally, I think there is a strong market for a 350 from one or more of the Japanese brands. How many riders are on KTM group 'only' because they are the 'single' manufacture with a 350 4-stroke line-up? How many riders are on 450's only because none of the Japanese brands manufacture...

Suzuki would actually be a good choice. Most manufacturers are scared of stealing sales from their 250 or 450 and Suzuki could come out with an all-new model finally with e-start and drop the other 2 models and lube up the cash register. Kind of strange that a manufacturer never decides to hit em' where they aint'. Suzuki is noncompetitive in the motocross world, why not specialize in vet off road racers in the 350 class, offer good contingency and the lines would be filled with yellow.

Hey Guys, Which plastics manufacture offers the closest color match to the Kawasaki OEM plastics for the 24+/25+ KX450/KX250? I purchased a full kit from UFO a few weeks back, just went to install new graphics this morning only to realize when pulling the plastics out of the bags they are noticeably lighter in colour (more pale) than the OEM...

Bit of an older thread, but I didn't think my question justified a new one. X-Ring vs. O-Ring. Noticeable enough difference with the x-ring to choose one over an o-ring? These will be on a '23 350 SXF and '24 KX 450. Preferred brands? I'm usually a D.I.D or RK guy but not brand loyal. Open to trying something different.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I have thought of it in passing in the past but not thought much of it for the air forks. I did add some on the KX and made a notable improvement. Ironically have not thought seriously about it, but it makes sense! Definitely add that to my 'to-try' list. Very cheap option to try...

Thanks guys! Owen - Good question! I am looking for a more comfortable feel track to track. More plushness in the beginning of the stroke. Better holdup on braking bumps coming into corners while maintaining comfort, but Increased bottoming resistance without sacrificing so much small bump and chatter comfort. Anyone have experience with the JBI XACT48 DIY kit compared to a spring conversion on the 23-25 KTMs? In my case a 350. Trying to decide if its worth the cost to give it a try. I am in Canada. Yep, I had to swap the Factory edition orange seat for the +20mm black seat, that agreed, doesn't look anywhere near as good BUT the difference is amazing. If it wasn't, I would have taken it straight off and left the Orange seat on! Smile
