Jando was riding forward, the ruts were coming together at the end of the turns, frustrating Jett. When the pass was finally able to be made, Jando looked over and relented the spot as Jett sealed the deal by taking him high.

Pretty easy what he was supposed to say, show appropriate respect for one of the all time greats, someone who made the sport something he himself could achieve great things in, and then show at least a little humility. Supercross would not be where it is today without MC, 72 wins or not. Jett displays his dimwittedness, shallowness, and myopic view of the sport insinuating that he can achieve MC's status with win totals. All this before he won even one.
