That post-race slow-mo of the start was unreal. Prado literally had the lights go out, he was just rolling along pulling on the Roll-Offs. Tomac got a full on bukkake from Sexton right as he got alongside.

Sexton shot out of that start like a rocket… this will be good for his confidence… the more winners the better… I was expecting RC to mention how he was not very good in the mud early in his career..

A horrendous mudder was just what the doctor ordered for Eli. I said after last week's race that I wasn't concerned about how he would perform the rest of the season based off of A1, as he is almost always flat at A1. What I was concerned about was him having any shot at a title being 12 points behind a guy that has been riding essentially perfect on a 450 since last May. Well, now Eli is only 3 points behind him and 10 points behind Chase... Chase is a hell of a rider, but he certainly isn't immune to throwing away a race or two, or three, or four.
Now that Eli got the first race back tightness out of the way, got through a mudder, and is in a pretty solid points position all things considered, he could very well be right in the mix if he comes out at San Diego firing.
The bad thing about last week is now Chase can only go 16 and 1. Oh well….the good news is only 65 to go to beat Jeremy’s 72. That will take this season plus 3 more!!

My thinking as well. Jett has shown how good and consistent he is that basically every other rider needed this result from Jett to get a 2nd chance on the season. Now they got it and we'll all get to enjoy seeing it play out.
What if chase is telling the truth and they made some real progress this week and the speed and the confidence are there..... and he isn't falling anymore..... and he's got the red plate....
Neither were Webb and Anderson who finished behind Jett. Both former SX Champions, or does that not count.

Lawrence Bros aren't in my top 10 favorites of active riders. Not even close. However, I think I'll start hyping them up every week in the race thread. The hate comms are over the top.
I just want good racing and I'll cheer on most of those guys out there. Tomac or Roczen would be the sweetest for me personally, but I could get behind just about any of the top guys.
