Sweet, excited to see what they do with it. Lars has said that the Lawerences have played a role in the production development.
Wouldn't be surprised if they stiffen up the frame in key areas. Everything I have heard, it's actually too soft, and gets that bound up feeling that can bite you. Reminds me of too soft suspension that feels too stiff.
Side panels becoming even more non existent
Looks like new engine too...

They will have team PR photo shoot soon.
Wait until the Lawrence boys have to learn a brand new bike...
Like Jett had to in 2022 and last year in outdoors.
From what Lars has said, my guess is they have already ridden and giving input on the next generation production bike. It sounds like they are move involved that most professional riders are. The reasoning Lars gave is that they are good at it, and they have the plan to stay with Honda for their entire career, so they can really shape the development of the production bike, even though it really only changes every 4 years, that's 2-3 bikes they will get to develop.
Hahahahahaa exactly
Engine looks similar to the current model here.
How? The engine looks exactly same. Not that it's a bad thing. Engine hasn't changed much since 17 and this looks like the same platform.
Just wait and see how fast he is on a bike actually developed around his riding style.....
Every year you hear some riders complaining about a new bike.
Jett raced 20 his rookie season
21 on the same bike.
22 new bike to learn for sx and mx
23 same bike for sx, went to 450 for mx
24 450 sx new bike. Then mx will be the same bike.
So in the 9 series he has raced in he has had a new bike to learn 6 times and only the same bike 3 times.
Not every thread neds to become Jett thread …
People chill
That has to be the ugliest Honda I have seen, rad scoops are terrible
Agreed. It’s a strange looking bike.
Pit Row
Just guessing here but maybe a raised intake tract for an even straighter shot at the intake valve? Requiring a redesigned fuel tank that requires a bulge to maintain same capacity?
The shroud designer needs to be fired...
Honestly just keep the plastics the same and work on the frame and suspension. They have the best looking Honda ever right now.
Edit: Or just refine the plastics like KTM did with the FE this year.
I have 5 different CRF450s…. Pretty big Honda fan… That thing is ugly!!!
Yeah, we'll probably get used to it... but its fugly.
Well... I say that, but I'm still not used to the latest KTMs... or the new GasGas side panels.
Aftermarket plastic companies lickin’ their chops
WOW. ok, interesting, can't believe the current model is old enough that we're actually looking at a 25 prototype.
1997 called, they want their radiator shrouds back. No holes or lines just looks like a big red sheet of Plastic.
I’m just wondering if the airfilter and intake have been updated to be more like the HRC bikes.
oui dink it looks rad yo (it does)
Looks kinda like old school Cr´s, i dont like it but i dont hate it.
Yea the bike they have now is perfect. That shroud looks weird theres no open cut out anywhere it looks like some kind of louver or screen where the black part is.
The top shock/airbox area looks different you see more of the frame up near the seat/side plate area
