Be interesting if they ask for support in return for NOT targeting the factory Honda guys... might just work
Ah, good ol’ MotoConcepts Racing: the North Korea of Supercross
Issue was Wilson one not first corner.
And…
It’s still sketchy and risky.
he probably would have came out a little better or possibly snagged the holeshot if he wouldn’t have.
to each their own I guess.

Friesie perfect fit for arenacross why wouldn't he just go there? Can't imagine he can make much in supercross? IDK
I can understand looking at other incidents to answer the question: Is Friese a dirty rider? I don't think many would answer anything but yes. I don't understand looking at other incidents to assign blame in the incident that took out Lawrence (as many seem to insist on doing). Just look at what happened - the other incidents have no bearing on that. Saying that Friese didn't do anything wrong based on what we saw happen in this case doesn't make you a Friese fan or defender. It makes you a reasonable person, boring as that may be.
I guess I'm a sucker for a Friese thread just like all the rest of you.
It sucks that his competition doesn't take beating him as seriously as this forum takes discussing him. If they did, maybe they'd practice starts until they could beat him (especially any factory rider that is behind him after the first turn). Or maybe they'd practice aggressive passing and being defensive, until they were the ones putting him on the ground instead of vice versa.
But they don't, so here we are filling the internet with our opinions.
Alessi and Friese were holeshot masters, but both would fade back as the race wore on. I've always wondered if they set-up their bikes to get a start, but had to make sacrifices in the bike's performance else where?
Obviously skill is still involved, but I would have to think they were also set-up to get the start.
Best comment of the year...awesome!
so we all agree Hunter and Vince was a racing incident.
And we all agree we have had enough of every other drama Vince keeps causing.
wouldn't be surprised if MCR ends up being Beta or Suzuki at this point.
also dont know how Vince hasnt gotten the black Flag after all these years like Reed got
It's simple really most every "incedent" has people on both sides of the argument.
Like I've said before the best and worst thing about Vince is his speed, skill set and progression.
He's fast and a great starter. No one can take that away. Dudes fast, all of these guys are fast. 7th -13 450 speed every week couple that with starts as good and consistent as anyone. He's just fast enough to run with the top 7 for a couple laps with a good start. He's also good enough to come back into the top 10-13th with a bad start.
His skill set is there, we've seen him race clean more times then not. It's just when as stoner once said his ambition out weighs his talent it can get ugly. He's good enough to be consistent and if need be do the bigger combos or jumps again more times then not. He's like Aray but more consistent with hucking himself and landing it. Lol
Progression: Something I don't think people realize is you don't get to stay in this sport and make any kind of money without being fast, talented and be able to keep up with Progression. You don't get to come into your what 16th season as professional without being fast. You don't get to regularly get top 15's, top tens, some top 5 and an almost top 3 in 450 sx, be just as good on 250s and be decent outdoors with out being able to keep progressing. Or maybe the sports not progressing as people claim? Maybe we've hit a point where we're only inching forward in speed and the back half is catching up.
I think he's got 3 or 4 years good years left in him. Well see this year. He could be back of the pack and done after this year. But if he has a good year and wanted to progress I really feel like if he could beg everyday and get a ride with mitch and hire either Nick Wey or Auntuez as a riding coach he could be a title guy again in 250's. I think they could clean and polish him up and turn him loose on either cost and be top 5 consistently. Still think if Alessi and James rode for mitch first or even taken the ride at geico for Mike. I think they both have a better career. But eh what do I know.
Where can I get some of whatever you're smoking? Is it available online?
Let them race !
Think of KTM "group" decides in the semi the outcome of the races..not very enjoyable
Compare to Ishockey, Torontos summercamp that decides the NHL team upcoming season, they are not buddies...
😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
I would be curious as to who exactly at the AMA reviews "incidents" involving him, and says "I see no problem here".
I would think MCR has to have some benefit to keeping him on the team. They are sponsoring riders to make money for the sponsors. That being said, how much money in sales has a rider like Vince cost these companies? In todays cancel culture I'm sure there are people clutching their pearls boycotting products because of him. Hell my wife wants a new hot tub and I hate the guy so much there's a zero percent chance I'm buying a bullfrog spa. At what point does the negative of a rider outweigh the positives?
Because other riders actually hit back in Arenacrash.
A guy who was holding a pit board when sx was more of a contact sport then now.
Actually not sure if he is still part of the review team??
Pit Row
I only peripherally followed the Brayton/Friese bounty thing. Bring me up to speed, was there any consequence to Friese for offering money to have Brayton taken out (I.e. paying to fix a race)?
Vince got a warning and that’s about it
Go back and watch every single gate drop at 24 A1, not one other rider pulled the same move that Friese did. There’s a good reason for that…..
Remember when Moranz kept pulling this move and eventually all the riders got pissed and started telling him to stop? It’s certainly not an illegal move but it’s generally frowned upon amongst the competitors specifically because this type of outcome is more likely to happen than if he were to not cut over. This is even more dangerous when it’s a right hand corner at the end of the start straight.
Friese's antics display poor judgement and ill consideration for other riders, but he has a long list of incidents because he has such a long career as a non-podium rider. If you are a pro for 15-16 years whatever he has, back in 10th-20th getting lapped, being in the LCQs consistently, obviously a lot of shit will hit the fan because of you or around you. That he gets good starts elevates his situations, no pro rider wants to get passed or will relinquish a lead with no fight at all. He is paid to race after all. I have stated before Eli, Sexton, and Webb have no problem with him. Webb has stated they are buddies even. It is the riders that are already disappointed with their results without Friese involved that bitch about him most. Friese's tactics are not totally forgivable, but they are understandable.
