I would bet a fair amount of money that it is fuel related. I had the same thing happened to me at Fox Raceway several months ago on a brand new KTM with VP T-4 in the tank. Bike died in the air. I replaced the fuel and the fuel filter, and it never happened again, bike has 25 hours on it now with not a hiccup

Ok I'll play. Hopefully this motivates me to try harder. I always hovered around 210. Definitely fat for my height of 5'8" (used to be 5'9"-1/2) I've lost an inch and half in height. My fattest ever was 225, that was 2 years after I ate shit in December 2020 (12-13-20, 5 years ago this Saturday actually) and didn't do a lot for 2 years. I recovered from that debacle and started riding an emtb in Jan 2023 and have been slowly dropping since then. This morning I was 204. So I've lost 21 pounds in 3 years... not exactly...

I’ll play. 213 currently and would love to hit 190. Was on a tear last year and got close, but injury and losing my dad had me cornered. Pressing ahead and I appreciate the timing of this post! I’m starting easy this week and focused on reestablishing habits rather than too strong of a start and petering out. Showing up is key. Full intro week of daily incline treadmill walking, then will be adding 3 days of the week full body weight training with a couple intense cardio, but also not neglecting those loooong zone 2 sessions to rebuild stamina...

One of the other threads inspired me ya might say. Quite a few guys mentioned dropping weight. Some even mentioned significant amounts. I’m thinking we have a friendly weight loss competition for bragging rights. I dropped about 40 pounds last year but needed to loose 60. Big guys can carry a lot of weight lol. I’m about 6’1” now, was 6’2” in high school but back surgery and age has shrunk me. I’ll be 70 in March, but I don’t feel like it! Was down to 205 but back up to 220 the other day. I started riding again in 21 . I never think about getting hurt . And I learned from you or remember you saying. After u broke up with a chic you rode like you didn’t care if you died. Lol take fear out & you haul some ass & Its more fun. Like a fun joy ride. Getting my legs strong is tough & 6,3 to 6,0 in 2 1/2 + yrs Russian mob trucks blew my body out good. A lot is destroyed so I hv to run with what is left & except that & hv fun.

Dealing with a weird one now! 2018 KTM 250xc from new never ran right and over time it progressively got worse. I narrowed it down to transmission fluid making it's way into the crank case. After 2 leak down tests, two right crank case seal changes and some frustrating diagnosis hrs, I finally found the oil was getting in through the center cases. Long story short, the cases from the factory were not properly machined. There were 2 serious low spots where the center gasket would eventually fail. I placed a lit q-tip at a transmission window while the crank...

Or specially made fuel that is double the price for that matter.... Point is, if its going to happen you may as well saved enough to rebuild your bike by using pump gas instead of race gas anyway. If you are trying to make a 125 a 250f beater then yea, go wild. But I have seen so many dudes put VP or whatever in thier stock 450s, then complain about the sport being so expensive that I am unsure if grown adults are able to put two thoughts together.

10/26/2025 6:12am New tires asap and remove the stupid stock band on the rim and duct tape twice around, I think this helps greatly with keeping water and dirt out and also keeps spoke nipples from turning and loosening.

I heard Trump used to love Moto. Apparently used to have a KX500 and was an absoloute send lord in the whoops. Also a Whitehouse insider told me he runs mouses, not tubes. And he loves his jumps bigly. He had a Chevy trucks sticker kit, some steg pegz and was an early adopter with the paddle tire. He loved holeshotting and was upset when they introduced the grate, rekons he had good feel with the clutch and it took his advantage away. People say he could have been better than Reed.

I replaced injector, reset TPS too many times, replaced fuel filter in tank and in line cone. Dumped the VP but still once in awhile get a hesitation when cracking the throttle. Fuel pump next to replace. As far as AV gas my experience...
