I haven’t seen anyone cut across from the outside on any other start today. It’s almost as if every other professional racer knows you shouldn’t do that in a corner like that…..

As for the LCQ, those mistakes are Hunter’s to own, but that’s why they all want to avoid that scenario.

For those laughing at Old Mate for his over tendency to post photos of the Lawrences, or even his own sons, just stop and think about it for a minute:

imagine you have twin sons and through your guidance, they make it to the top of the sport nationally with multiple titles, then they go to the States and both manage to make AMA podiums.

Then after they’ve flown the coup, you coach another two young brothers, that in turn make it to the level that the Lawrences have, I.e. world class champions.

I think you’d be pretty proud, would you not? You’d probably want to tell people about it, wouldn’t you?! It may be over sharing, but it’s pretty bloody amazing what he’s been part of.

I was watching the race… I just hadnt got to that part yet. Ppl have these magical devices that tape the race as its playing that allow you to pause the race and rewind/fast fwd if you need to. This means that not everybody is watching it at the exact same second as everybody else. I like to rewind some passes and other things that happen because it happens fast and you dont always see everything. You can also pause the race and take a piss or something. I purposely stay out of the bench racing thread when Im behind a bit because thats the thread where ppl post up to the minute commentary about whats going on and 99% of the time thats enough because ppl dont usually post the results in titles so its not a prob.

No big deal.  A rookie 450 class mistake.  Hunter will be fine and improve as the year goes on, but anyone who thinks Hunter is in the same league as his brother is delusional.  Hunter is a rookie in the 450 class who should view a top 10 as a very successful night.  Jett has the potential to be (or already is) the greatest rider of his generation.
