Just peeled off the old One industries cover off my old 200… threw it in a drawer thinking it might be cool to cover up an old bar stool with one day.

I wonder if this is O'Neal's way to market a new high end helmet since they don't have anything in that space currently. Hoping its a full gear line though.

Right before ONE took a digger in 2015, there was a prototype high end helmet with a high end price point that never saw the light of day outside of internal company R&D

The thing was/is bitchen

Have to wonder if the acquisition of the brand will include that helmet as it never saw production other than the 2 prototypes

My buddy worked on the new ONE stuff.  He wasn’t hired by O’Neal but I think O’Neal may be distributing it.

nope, not that one. If my memory is correct it was almost exactly the same as the black/gold I posted except they had to color options

Black where the current black is, and red where the current gold is                                                                                               White where the current black is, and red where the current gold is

had a red seat cover to match and at the time was just really unique to me

Is this kid a solid prospect to be a top Pro someday or more of a social media type guy?

Not hating, genuinely curious.

I'd see him more as a Bereman or Hodges type, not a racer, not freestyle, but free riding or whatever you want to call it

Fun Fact... Not only does Jim O'Neal Distributing, Inc. (O'Neal) own the ONE Industries trademark, but they also own ALLOY MX.

imagine owning the trademark to two cutting-edge brands and releasing the gear that oneal does.

Heard the same thing. O’neal will handle the shipping and handling but there’s another team behind ONE

I think Red Bull is treating him a bit more like Ryan Sipes and letting him race what he wants. He's not setting the world on fire speed-wise, but he did race Super Minis at Loretta's last year, plus I saw that he did some GNCC-type races, and he raced the Baja 1000 as well. He's a pretty damn good jumper, but he's only 15, so I don't think they're going to let him do things like Imagination quite yet.

I spent a lot of my time chasing him around (Well maybe for a few corners anyway haha) but I don't remember it exactly but he always looked factory even on 80's and shit haha.. AXO was a dream brand back then

Dungey leaving saved the company. Dungey won a lot more races that season than they were predicting and One Industries never would have been able to afford the championship bonus pay he had in his contract.

Saved the company. Grinning

He said about the company that went out of business.

In other news, I never had any of their gear, but in the early to mid 2000s, One Industries graphics were tits!

If they're back, I wish them nothing but the best...however, if they have another choice between some fast tweeker and the guy on the Wheaties box...maybe don't go with the tweeker this time?

Back at 2012 & 2013 they lost a load, lets rephrase that, a shitload of money on the Martin Honda deal. The figures going around in the MXGP paddock back than where enormous for two low profile riders. [Reading it in Jeremy Clarkson his voice] Some people say that deal eventually put them under.

I believe it was the capital dump private equity did to launch a bike brand is what did them in. They had big plans to compete with Fox in the bicycle segment because they thought they had already maxed out in Moto. I believe they eluded to having to expand into bicycle to keep the company growing. What they really meant was “we’re broke so this bicycle thing is our last ditch effort.”

One was awesome and a bad ass company but the private equity group ran them into the ground so quick. Those guys were completely clueless to what they were doing.

Was hoping I wasn’t the only one and you would have seen it too😂. Saw him racing at Lakes in it and swear I saw it in a magazine once around the same time.

That would be really cool, One is an iconic brand in our sport. Now we just need OG No Fear back.

If No Fear comes back...Just take my money

If anything from that era comes back take my money.  It was so much better than stuff now.  I have proof my 16 year old agrees.
