Last Year: Tomac, Sexton, Webb, Roczen and Barcia all won mains.

So, who or how many winners in 2024?

Tomac, sexton, and Jett with at least one most likely more.
It would be super hard to count out Barcia if he’s back to 100%, the guy was on rails last year before he got hurt.
Anderson I believe is feeling a little less stressed this year and he likes the new Kawi, I think he is about to surprise some people this year.

Hunta looks like he’s gelling with the 450, wouldn’t surprise me a bit if he got one.

Something about me is saying Dylan on that Honda could likely do some damage.

I think Webb and Roczen’s winning days in AMA Supercross are over unless the stars align perfectly.

just my 2 cents, time will tell.

Starts are going to be massive this year given how deep the field is.

I’m going 4. Jett, Tomac, Sexton. The fourth will be a wildcard one time winner

A lot depends on attrition.

But if the top guns are healthy, I would say 3 : Jett, Tomac, Sexton.

With these 3 on the gate, I think a podium for the other riders is like a win.

Mav’s post gives us a dose of reality; yet, many of us seem to think that this year is gonna be “VERY DIFFERENT”…?

The 18, 3 and 4.

Its going to be boring. By race 7 there will be a clear leader with a 2nd place guy just keeping 1st honest. The press will constantly refer to 2023 season to show that "you never know what can happen" even though we will all know whats about to happen.

I've been on the "Hunter is going to be really good, better than people think" train for over a year since before it was cool and I think he'll be really good, just not sure if he's up to winning in his first year

Five…maybe six

Tomac, J. Lawrence, Sexton, H. Lawrence, and Roczen.

I can see Barcia if he’s back 100% or maybe Anderson if the planets align.

It’s remarkable how often the answer is 5…. I think this field will produce 6.

I think there will be one or two (Hunter), if Jett has a mechanical or something. This will be like going from 1992 to 1993, only if Jeremy had a brother that was about as fast as he was.

*Eli may get one toward the end, but no way to tell.

At least 6, the rubbing in the 1st half is going to nuts, unless Jett gets starts. Looking at Maverick's awesome stats, how could you not wish for at least 6, maybe 8. Prado will mess up some plans, so much talent in the 450 class, combined with egos/expectations. What a season it should be.

Great info.  I've probably heard that stat before somewhere; I clicked on the thread title thinking it's usually about five winners.

Those couple of years James, Ricky and Chad had every one so outclassed...

Recent race days when we see qualifying times with the top ten on the same second have me convinced that the field is far more level now.   Teams, trainers and athletes have the formula pretty much figured out now and the bikes are better.

Going with five also based on those stats.

Not sure why people are throwing Prado in there tho...dude doesn't even have one SX race.

Starts are the main reason, unless he just wants to cruise around.
