What do you expect him to do on sand courts? Heat, battery life? I ride a lot on tracks such as Lommel, Reusel, Berghem or Grevenbroich. If you think that is possible, please send me some more information when the test phase is finished

Varg vs YZ-EMX
Varg has 2x the power but 2x the cost.
Is it possible to put in a pre-order or get on the waiting list to get one ASAP?
Any plans to kit other OEMs?

For deep sand like Lommel, I don't think this would be a good option. Any electric bike is going to struggle in those conditions, including the Stark, and I just don't think the run time will be what you are looking for unfortunately. I'm not sure if we would run into overheating issues or not, but I do know that battery life will be significantly reduced.
We don't have an official pre-order available, but shoot me a DM and I will see what I can do.
If this kit is successful, then yes absolutely. We will likely focus on the perimeter frame bikes because the single backbone frames (KTM, Yamaha 2 strokes, etc.) don't leave a lot of room for battery and they can't be installed from the top.
Isnt that just a Suron? Ive seen some with KX85 Front ends.
I don't know if I would use a perfectly good bike as a donor, but if I needed to drop a couple thousand into a complete rebuild, this would definitely be an option worth considering......!
Stark Varg has got to be nervous seeing this! Need to get the finished kit in the hands of MXA. What is the weight difference on the standard battery pack vs the larger one? The used-market cost on YZ250F's is going to go up!
Surrons are chinese junk. You have to spend $13k to even think about doing half the obstacles an actual pitbike can do and even after that, you’re still building on a frame that falls apart because it is loosely built around mountain bike technology. I’m talking about electric conversion kits for crf110/klx110 and xr100/crf125 or klx140/ttr125 rolling chassis’s, similar to the conversion kit displayed in this post.
When you say the "battery goes into the tank" are you cutting the bottom of the tank out so the battery can extend up into that area? (I don't think this would be a problem - if someone wanted they could easily buy a used tank on eBay for cheap, IF they wanted the ability to return to gas)
Yes, cut out the bottom and make a secure mount to hold battery down. Tank goes on, shrouds go in stock location on my CRF builds. I use the stock airbox, modified for the controller.with stock side plates. I like the stock look as much as possible. I can do 2004-2013 CRF 250's. They are very good handling bikes stock and even better with electric.
That is correct, the bottom of the tank is cut out (I recommend using an oscillating tool, the cheap HF ones work just fine) to allow it to slide over the battery. This helps give the bike more of an OEM look, and also allows the plastics to mount in the same way they would on the stock bike. You also need to trim the airbox a bit as well, but again with an oscillating tool it's not much of a problem. There will be detailed instructions with the kit explaining how to handle all of the modifications necessary.
People need to stop comparing Surrons to 125s, they're two different bikes for two different purposes. A Surron is going to be a light, nimble, and fun bike to do small jumps on and rip around with your buddies, it's not going to handle being ridden like a motocross bike and it was never intended to. That said, anyone dumping $10k into a Surron is an idiot, all the bike needs for most guys in the updated headset bearing kit, some bars, and possibly some springs if you're on the heavy side. All of these guys putting KTM front ends on their bikes with 21/18 wheels sets are basically turning a fun and playful pitbike into a crappy and oddly proportioned dirtbike, it's just not a good direction to go and they end up riding like crap.
To answer your original question though, we do have kits for KTM 65s and YZ 85s, but they're hard to keep in stock and just aren't designed to be as user friendly. When we did those kits it was very early days, and from that we learned a lot. The TTRs and CRFs present a little bit of a problem because the motor is integral to the frame and carries a lot of load, so a conversion on those bikes is a little bit more involved unfortunately.
I know I’m going to catch heat for this but this is pretty bad ass…
At least your post are all consistently bad
I think this is great and definitely something I'd be interested in as well . Lord knows there's a lot of high hr ready to grenade yzfs out there
Pit Row
People that haven't experienced electric power don't realize the instant torque and always being in the correct gear and how that relates to off the corner forward thrust.
They definitely aren't gonna save the planet but do have certain advantages performance wise and riding certain areas at certain times of day/nght. Just another option for me to have added to the fleet. Lots of fun!!
If Electro doesn't do Hondas and you are a Honda guy, I can do those.
Alright guys, the time has finally arrived, the Electro & Co. YZ-EMX kit is live and available for purchase at the link below!

It's been a long time coming but I'm really excited with how this kit came out, and I can't wait for others to experience the bike and build their own. Each kit comes with detailed step by step instructions with plenty of pictures to help guide you along, and I believe this is a project anyone with a small amount of wrenching competence can easily handle. We've made the kit as user friendly and complete as possible, the only thing you will need to provide is a donor bike. All of the details can be found in the link above, but here are a few shots of our completed bike (my race bike for this year).
Sweet bike, good luck for this!
Throttle aggression is such a cool name for bike settings
Gee....if only there was a sub-forum for this type of content.
If only there was a forum for old people to complain about stuff. But that would be no fun. Without all of the people who dislike the electric MX bikes that post on the threads , they would not live as long or get as many views. Thanks for bumping the thread so I saw it.
There is also a sub-forum for 90% of your posts. It’s called the Dumbgeon.
Magoofan has alot of pictures of dudes in bras saved to his harddrive
Oh yeah, I'm sure otherwise you would have missed it.
Many plan & set goals, few put in the work and achieve.
Congrats on reaching the finish line for your project.
7000$ for the hi-end package.
I think I can find and rebuild a pretty good YZF race engine for that amount.
And also find a pretty good complete YZF.
Maybe even a brand new RMZ...
I wish you'd stop sending me yours....
