I have 3 AC units, 2 pool pumps and 5 small and large refrigerators, and tons of other stuff that all run off my system.
Some days when charging the cars and running A/C all day I do get into a deficit with my utility, but I sell so much back to them that I never get a bill and haven't since I installed the system.
And THAT is what you'd call a no brainer decision.
It sure seems to point out that we are paying a premium for energy when a a retail purchase of solar by a consumer pays for itself in a relatively short time. And PG&E is trying to claw back solar energy value from consumers whenever they can.
If we never left nuclear in CA and actually ramped up it would be a much different world. Could have been electricity energy independent in CA for cheap.
...It's a damn shame that we can't get nuclear power in California - I know they dumped it partially because of the reactor core problems (thanks TOSHIBA!) they had at San Onofre - but look at France, they have a ton of nuclear reactors with no issues?
What scared me to finally get solar power is the proposal last year from So Cal Edison to charge a sliding utility rate based on customer's income! - Fuck those assholes...

Same here in Germany. We shut down our last three nuclear plants this year, not because of safety, but because of ideological reasons. Now they have to fire up old coal plants because of the war and the bombing of the Nordstream pipeline.
That‘s what happens when a bunch of lawyers and economists run the country.
I’m looking forward to seeing the Honda in action. Also cool to see Trey race again.
Alright Honda, this weekend it's time to shine, show us what you got!
After so many years lurking in the shadows we will finally see what this electric prototype of yours is made of.
Can it beat he ICE competition with such a great rider onboard? Can it hold a candle to the Varg? We shall see. Exciting times indeed.
Can't wait. I'm litterally jumping up and down on my couch.
Just wanna see if its Stark level yet.. before getting Stark if Honda is not ready.
Kidding, I'm just here for the guy who instantaneously downvotes every post in the electric threads. I admire your dedication to your task you poor soul.
Under 2 min, that's world level commitment right here folks

No doubt all the tooling is long gone.
New, old design tooling would be just as expensive as a modern bike.
Their easiest route would be to develope a new motor that bolts into a 2024 RMZ250 rolling chassis.
Stark won't be competing in Japan, so it will be difficult to compare.
Motocross is 90% rider, 10% bike, if the Honda is down on power, Trey Canard should still be able to perform like Johnny O'Mara did in 1986...

Not too bad for a start, I guess getting used to the bike and to the track he can put it on the rostrum.
AMA - we need tire manufacturers on the board too
That bike looks pretty sweet!
