If everyone has conflict with Decoster get rid of him. Use someone else who isn’t with conflicting brands

Well that pretty much settles it....we aren't sending a team...it will be interesting to what Paul has to say on Pulp tonight

Not saying this is the issue, but its a large issue with Team USA. Why is Decoster still involved with Team USA for MXdN? He has at least 10 different reasons for conflict of interests. Get rid of him.

So

Just piss on the guy that is responsible for getting us back to racing the event 42 years ago and then guiding team USA to domination for so many years?

There are a lot of bothersome things about MXoN, mainly that the promoter makes a ton and the riders apparently have to pay their own way. But I do not understand what the problem is with the man.

And this is from someone that does not think he us a flawless human. I still think he was 100% wrong blaming the Japanese rider for JA21's bonehead move, but the fact is that he has earned that position of team manager as long as he wants it.

Why do we have to act like he’s the only capable human being that can fill those shoes? Nobody is pissing on him.

How many years we going to limp to (or not even attend...) an "away" race with DeCoster as the team manager?

Let's reward failure becuase of his history? Spare me.

It's not just him either... The whole program needs a complete reset with competent people planning and organizing. Funding should been secured months ago. Riders and multiple alternates booked weeks ago. Now we're left with silence and teams making excuses.

What are the 10 conflicts of interest for DeCoster? Are they personal or professional…or just your feelings?…a lot of people are motivated by feelings these days over facts, and then they’ll make hyperbolic statements like, “He has at least 10 different reasons, for conflicts of interests.”  Not that there isn’t any conflicts of interest for Roger, but I can’t think of ONE, can you?

Let's send a privateer team!  Three guys that want to go give it a try!  I bet many of us would donate towards that.  After all we do have some darn good non-factory riders.

Nothing against Decoster,  it I think it is time that Mitch took over the full reigns. Evolution is just that

We need to treat MXdN as a complete team effort as well.

Ride together, pit together, same communication system and anything else they can do together needs to be done as a team.

C'mon fellers...this horse is dead.  You're gonna give yourselves an aneurysm.

At this point, it's pretty clear that we no longer care about the MXdN.  MX is a young man's sport.  If our young men no longer feel the event is relevant...so be it.

I'll watch it.  I probably won't be as fired up about it as I usually am but it's still awesome.  I'm gonna root for the Canooks.Cool

Plenty did. It was well documented that Paul took it upon himself to get the team to work together and pay more attention to details last year after the previous red bud disaster when no one was paying attention to starting positions, tire protection and other communication. After that event it should’ve been a done deal that we needed new leadership. No one is shitting on RD, we all thank him for everything he has done, it’s just time to move on.

Right, really is a shame if someone isn’t running 1-3 even if they aren’t in the front or even in the A main

Why is this on Decoster? The issue is riders not wanting to to and teams not wanting to send riders. 0 to do with Roger. He stepped back a bit last year anyway.

Because we're Americans by God.  We need someone to burn.  He's old and talks funny.  Burn him.

If he ever did anything for us...it was a long time ago so it don't count for nothing today.

Seriously, if ANYONE here has knowledge (real facts...not rumour) that Roger has sabotaged or been incompetent as team manager...speak up.

I know Roger by reputation and casual interaction.  If expecting people to do what they are capable of is a sin...then burn him.

It's a shame.  Afraid it's typical of the way things are moving.  There's actually a war going on and we are upset about a race.  Our (not just the US. But everywhere) priorities and values are much different than they once were.

It's not Roger.  Listen to the review show from yesterday with Matthes, Weege, and JT.  It's just the perfect storm this year.  Everyone was waiting on Sexton.  He is now not going with the brand switch.  Star said they have too much happening this year and cannot make it work (Deegan, Levi then out).  Kawi is not interested and that's their business, but bogus IMO.  Swoll is switching teams so cannot go without an insurance policy.  RJ and AP are in......who else is really left?  Barcia is the only one I am not sure of

Back in the 80s we had riders that wanted to be selected on the team and raced the event like it was their regular championship. It seems that now we have a couple riders that want to go but their efforts in the race are strongly based on their starts. I guess having a shot $100,000 plus race win bonus and on a million dollar SX championship bonus out weighs the bragging rights of the MXoN.

Stop buying Kawasakis and let the dealers know it's because they won't support MXdN. Once it hits a manufacturer in the pocket book then they might get a little more enthused.

Since we don't know the exact crux of the problem between Kawi and Roger...it's a mystery.  Reading between the lines...it's more personal than economic.
