James imo is the most entertaining rider to watch man a dirt bike. Has he gave any insight or talked about ever riding again? Does he still ride at all? I haven’t seen all his podcast so I wondering if anyone has heard anything?

Doubt it. Reed mentioned recently on some podcast/interview he did that he asked James if he still had a bike and wanted to ride together and James said nope.

The chances of him racing again are almost none, but never actually none 😂

Reed isn't on James X-mas list.

It would be awesome just to see him ride at his house!

Considering they planned a family trip to Disney and played golf together, I don't see the truth in that. This isn't 2009.

I would love to see him give it another go but the reality is that he is happily retired and healthy.

He was on pulpmx this last week and Matthes asked this question.  Suprisingly James said he had plans to get back on a bike now that he's more involved in the sport once again,  but itll be interesting to see in what capacity. Doesn't seem like he's got any desire to race,  but for us, something is better than nothing!

Didn't he have a little rip around on a Honda at home not too long ago?

I mean he's a fairly secretive dude when he wants to be, so who knows how often he's taken a bike out when the mood strikes, but I'm sure there was the odd pic floating around fairly recently on a modern crf450.

I can see him riding a bit more for fun but he's always seemed fairly against racing again. Who knows though, I'm down for Stew Vs Brownie Loretta's 2028 😂

Yeah, he's stated that he'd like to go race Lorettas again at some point.

I always wondered this about ex pros.  You see some that have consistently ridden for fun after their career is over and others that have walked away and never looked back. Damon Huffman for example.  We all started riding because we love riding dirt bikes, some were able to take if further than but but in the end does that kill the love of riding?  I know at 55 I can’t get enough and see Nick Wey, Tedesco, Hanny, McGrath, Glover, Emig, Ping, Chicken, Bradshaw along with many others that still spin some laps for fun but often wonder about why most other retirees seem to hate something they once loved. There are more that don’t ride than there are ones that do and that just seems strange to me.

Not wanting to ride and not wanting to ride with Reed are two different things.

Even if he did one off races, like the straight rhythm it would be amazing to see him ride again, but I doubt that will ever happen, but🤞🏼🤞🏼

He said a couple races ago at Southwick ago when he was announcing the only way he is racing again is if a race was held at his track.

I get what your'e saying but I bet some don't ride because of past injuries and it's just too painful and others because theyv'e just had thier fill.

I guess guys like us haven't had our fill and probably never will.

Simple answer...alternative facts and/or fake news. Any questions?

When a hobby or sport turns into a job it ceases to be fun for a lot of people.
