I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone who wanted to be on a certain team so badly that they’re willing to forgo racing just to have a chance to race as a fill in. I would hire him over some of the other rumored PC riders for next year.
I like Forkner. I get a kick out of him. He's a bit excitable but that's better than being comatose. I wish I had his energy and optimism.
What's Pro-Circuit going to look like next year? Hammaker, Kitchen...Forkner?...McAdoo? With Ryder D going to Gas Gas, Shimoda going to Honda and Reynolds getting dropped?

looking forward to a forkner v deegan battle in the coming rounds.....
both strong personalities and similar riding styles (shall we say).....hope AF does not get sucked in to riding above his head too soon thou....
250 class is stacked with macadoo, mosiman , 3 x star crew etc still to come back..

I reckon folks have forgotten how much of a hot rod Forkner is. If he lines up...he plans on being on the box at the very least. Or he will die trying.
There in lyes the problem
You ain't wrong
Seems like he's matured a lot. Maybe being injured so much humbled him or maybe just growing up. Side note i've sat by his Mom a few times at the races, that lady is intense, crazy. She over reacts to every move he makes. I mean WAAAAAY over the top.
From Vital Silly Season: Austin Forkner: With recent rule changes, Austin Forkner is no longer on the bubble to be bumped out of the 250 class. He has been retained for the 2024 season at Pro Circuit.
The box? Cmon
can't see him on the box but a solid 5 -10th place both motos wld be a great start...............can only assume ryno is mentoring him for a slow build back into it!
I'm not trying to.be tough on Forkner at all. He's just missed so much seat time. 8-12th is more realistic
Y'all are probably right but if he pulls a ripper...you heard it here first.
I often wonder how his career would be if he went pro 1 year later. A victim of his own success?
He’s putting in a heater right now during qualifying. You can see a pretty significant change in his riding style.
Like what happened to AC? Boy racing with men
If you look up the term "Checkers or Wreckers"...AF's picture will be right there!
Let's hope those days are over.
Pit Row
well you picked it better than I....good stuff ...glad he didn't get hurt anyways and onto the next one!
Solid day. Something to build on. Get through the rest of outdoors healthy and keep building for sx. Rooting for the dude..been rough
Yesir solid day. As all of us who have raced know…it’s not if, it’s when you get hurt. Most of the rest is luck. Dungey broke his neck, Tomac blew out his shoulder/Achilles, MC dislocated his hip, Fro broke his back. Happens to everyone.
Aye, tis not a gentle sport the lot of us have chosen.
I’m just glad he had an OK result, it’s been a long time since he last race. I just want all the ‘top’ guys fit and healthy hoping that racing would be better.
I do remember a couple years back he was struggling to return outdoors. He certainly did better than back then.
I thought it was a good 1st race back for him. It looked like he was at least able to hold off Deegan for a while. I am sure he is not in race shape yet so hopefully that will improve as he races more. Changing his style will be a challenge and will take a while.
Saw some new technique when they showed Austin and some old technique that came into play when he went into “go time”. This will take time, with the stacked field for the 250’s he did well.
