I don't know how much time he has on a Kawi, but those 3 rounds could be difficult on a new bike. It takes time to adapt, but it's still cool that he's giving it a shot.

I Hope Dasse is going to give him a new bike, even just a stocker with a pipe. Because he likes to save money (like every French 😂) and gets clapped out bike that fall apart.

By the way, french riders Stephen Rubini and Pierre Goupillon are in for the last 3 rounds on the 450 class.

I just saw a video from a local news station Rick Johnson said he added over 50 truck loads of sand.

What is the reason for French (Bud kawa) and English (SC sporthomes) teams to do some wildcards with Rubini & Talviku in the US, over riding in the GP's?

Not sure about Rubini. But the sc sporthomes guys have no contract to do mxgp and is basically self funded by the team owner (Clinton Putnam) and he thinks his guys get more exposure from doing 10-20 in USA than they would get going to mxgp. And most of their riders dreams are to come here and race. It’s a shame the AMA/FIM still denied Bobryshev his ama membership to be able to race again this year.

Talviku is pretty good in the sand. The only thing is, he’s still not 100% from his back injury he had a couple months ago. But I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s running 10-15 in 250

Kutsar is faster in the sand than Krestinov and Talviku coming back from injury

No they won’t, he shows up at local races all the time and people walk by and wave and keep going.

Should I make the 4 hour trip to the wick with my mom? Seems like a pretty cool national to watch some Sand surfing 🏄‍♀️

Dowd would have to be near 60.  He was 44 when he did the race in 2009 or 2010 I think.

He was 30 or early thirties in the late '90s when Yamaha put him on a YZ125 to try and beat RC. (1998, I'd say.) That would put him at least in his mid 50s... yikes, I'm getting old.

Well, Swedish guy Anton Gole could suprise. Good sand rider and has beaten Butron straight up in multiple MXGP occasions. Butron got a couple top 10s this season. Don’t know the program Gole is running over here and didn’t see him this year in MXGP.

Same for Van Berkel who got a 13th in 2nd moto in Red Bud, he also could put in a good effort. (Top 10 wise)

He brought his Swedish suspension and got a bike in the US that i guess will be stock apart from clutch and exhaust.

he will send the bike with some guy who drives the bikes for some privaters and take the flight him self.

if it works out good he might do the whole series next year.

he is a Swedish mx1 champ so he should be able to be top 15 to top 10 at least i think.

he got to ride press day yesterday but i have not seen any footage of him.
