I'm normally a fan of the drone shot, but it seemed bad today. Has it always been a fisheye lens? It was hard to tell what was going on

they haven't figured out how to truncate the running order like real sports yet. abbreviations  are haardd.

That track is hard to shoot from a drone because it’s in a valley. 

Id take that over them cutting to the leader rolling around all by himself on the last lap whilst theres an epic battle going on for 2nd  🤦🏼‍♂️ 

If they make the boxes big enough to see what's going on, and zoom in on the bikes, how are we ever going to notice the segment sponsor logo? Nothing makes me want to patronize a company more than when they're paying for decreased viewing quality. It's a genius marketing strategy really. I will remember these brands with fondness when it comes time to buy some new gear; getting my wallet out right now. Lol

I hate the "battlebox" but I think the drone shot has come a long way. I thought the drone stuff was really good yesterday when they weren't turning my big screen into two little screens. 

It blows my mind bondo still cant see a battle or pass coming. It’s literally on the timer🫣 I get the thor box is a sponsor and its cool. If done correctly. Make it bigger screens . The golden rule should be if the leaders are within 2 seconds it must stay on them🤘

BUT...I personally thought the drone footage was amazing!  Best drone shots I've seen of outdoor mx...very high resolution with great angles showing a great view of the step ups and downhills.  Crazy that the drone got roosted when about 50-60 feet above the bike!  Think it was Hampshire doing the roosting?

I don’t get the angst.  For a few moments at a time we are getting to see multiple battles - that’s better than just seeing one.  
 

And the drone coverage is, in my mind, a perfect match for outdoor MX to complement the other camera angles.  It moves with the action and is the ideal perspective to show riders taking different lines and making passes.

I know I'm in the majority crowd that's over it, when they HAVE to show Jett putting his gloves on at the Honda Semi when a 250 moto is going on and 2 laps to go...

Can they please stop this BS? Seriously. They show Jett CONSTATNLY doing nothing when there's an actual racing battle going on.

this is not the first time the battle box has showed the same thing twice, at-least this time its a slightly different angle

100% agree with you though. I'm as big a Tomac fan as anyone out there and I'd be upset with them showing him doing absolutely nothing worth while. Especially when there realistically is plenty of stuff to show on the track. Show 33rd and 34th battling in a smaller battle box instead of Jett putting his damn helmet and gloves on!
