So to help everyone that is struggling with the exact same problem every week when the futures take the track I have compiled a list of frequently asked questions from friends and casual fans. Feel free to add any question I missed….If asked these questions by a significant other, adding “sweetheart” at the end usually helps to mask frustrations.

- Is this the final race? No these are the amateurs.

- So where’s jett and hampshire? They’re pros and in the next race.

- So the amateurs are doing the same jumps as the pros? Yes, yes they are.

-This track looks too easy. No comment. Just ignore this question.

- So what makes the pros pros? (I usually am to frustrated to answer this question so “Nothing” is a sufficient answers.

I know I’m a POS….and as a fan I don’t mind the futures but explaining/ justifying how bad ass these guys are when amateurs are sending it just as hard can be a frustrating challenge and imo doesn’t help new fans

No different than most sports, Futures is an attempt at a farm system to the Pro ranks.

Do it at a farm, not on the same stage as professionals marketed as the "best in the world" on a watered down track.

Seems like lots of OEM money spent on amateurs, is Futures the exposure/marketing that helps justify the cost?

There are no changes to the track, the pros and amateurs all run a pro style track

I don't think it's a secret that the rounds that include Futures competitors have easier tracks.

No way Kawasaki is happy with the amount of time and money they've spent on Ryder D. All people could say a year ago was when is Haiden gonna man up and race Ryder D. I think the tides have turned and Ryder D isn't at the level he was expected to be at.

eh, the 3-5 seconds a lap difference maybe? But yes, I know for a casual fan, it would be hard to notice that difference if they weren't on the track at the same time.

Just show pro lap times vs future lap times for the avg. fan.

Seems most people should be able to understand College football vs Pro football also.

Why’s Casey Cochran faster than all of 250b group?

Going out on a limb here, but I'm gonna guess he's been practicing.

Futures came out to a perfectly groomed track. 250 B, not so much.

Eject, eject, eject.

Or start dating another moto dude that won't ask all these questions during the race.

That would be a good analogy if:

NFL games had a little break each week where college teams played a shortened game on the same field with the same equipment and refs, and each time that happened they also changed the ball and hash marks for the pros to better accommodate the college players.

In other words, bad analogy.

You obviously didnt pay attention to how Ryder was racing he wasnt even trying he moved over for Daxton and I heard he didnt want to be there but had to be to fulfill his Team Green contract .Before he got hurt he was as fast as the other PC guys .   .They should have had him training for the outdoor season when he returned from injury  instead of continuing to train for supercross .He probably doesnt want to get hurt and jepordize  racing outdoors where everyone knows he will run up front .If they need riders that bad they should have Reynolds racing supercross hes been racing lately .

Maybe he should just go race the GPs cause his SX skills suck. Hes fallen off his schedule of turning PRO full time and riders that were years behind him are passing him up. Hes gonna be a huge disappointment when the dust settles.

lol at the ignorance on this thread...  The factory kids (Casey, Daxton, Baumer, etc.) are running faster lap times than half of the pro 250 field.  They are amongst the "best in the world".  Deegan was literally mid-pack in the futures race just just a few months ago and now he's a regular podium guy.  Daxton is arguably better than Deegan (who is legit no matter what anyone says).

Any real fan of the sport would want to see these kids and see how the talent pool is looking in the coming seasons.

WOW. We are getting more racing and less annoying filler segments, and you are going to complain about the questions you get asked? For real!? LMAO it’s amazing what’s people complain about on here. Bet if someone gave you a $100 dollar bill you’d complain because you have to break it 🤦🏻‍♂️
