I'm not saying you're wrong but if you zoom out, this is a very isolated circumstance. It's not like there's been 6 years of this.

Blose has been incredibly consistent, maybe this should be the formula, young fast guys for the future and a few old hands to clock up the 5-10s to get the exposure required for the sponsors

At this point this has gone past bad luck. its not possible to have this many injured riders. the bike has to be the blame

bike went through the tunnel did the full procedure and lined up on the gate. That counts as lining up

I agree. Also management strategy that worked in the 90s and early 00s doesn't work in the 2020s. We see it globally in all sports.

EXPECTATIONS are a mutha fucker.

hire 4 privateers from the year before.. Any year.  I bet youll start seeing Changes..

but its gotta be mid-year, so they get all off-season to prepare..

These guys will rise to the occasion.

They wont pull off if they crash and go a lap behind, since their paycheck will automatically show up.

Youll find out there is actually a lot more to dirtbikes, racing, confidence, and so on...

We need to break this whole " we can work with speed " thing that teams do,

and use

" we can use a rider that cares to finish the whole season" and have every team have that mentality.

Problem?  make a 2nd tier....

Its so easy to roll over once you get a ride, multiple years...  are a "Work with speed rider," Know you'll have rides for the next 10 years off of 2 finishes a season,  even if you're making 50k.... Monster girls as your girlfriends,  free clothes, free bicycles, free everything outside of riding because your are still this " fast dirt biker that gets free stuff from everyone"  so 50K is a lot when you dont pay for anything...nutritionists, private trainers, therapists, mechanic, factory bike this stuff gets covered from some teams through the team so that you dont have a choice but to show daily...  But ill put my money on a Privateer, with a couple of years of "factory experience" over these we can work with speed guys.. ANYDAY.

Alex Martin is the perfect example we got to see right in front of us.  I remember in 07/08/09 days battling to get inside the top 20 outdoors with him...  He hadn't got to see his brother's programs and bikes yet to know what it took, once he did, all my chips slide across the table to Alex.

Karma.

Yeah it's funny, Shimoda was picked up as a "throwaway" due to his "lack" of speed and performs the best out of any PC rider in a couple of years.

I think that title would go to McAdoo.... more wins, podiums, consistency than any of the other PC riders. He's literally been on the podium every race he's been to in Supercross besides A2 this year.

Not to say any of their riders suck or the bike etc... Amazing riders and I'm a Kawi guy. I just think that team needs a big change in some way.

Like what? What would you change?

Move practice track from indian burial ground and hire full-time exorcist.

How so?  I'm not asking in an asshole-ish way I legitimately wanna know how the "Kawi Program" would be at fault and what they're doing wrong.  Anderson has been fine, Tomac was fine for years. It only seems to be PC (I'm excluding AC because he's always been hurt his whole career).  If the entire team had the same trainer and regimen I could see the point. Plus this has been going on for several years now.

I have a hard time believing that switching bike brands would suddenly resolve the injury problems but I could be wrong, I just don't understand how. The Star team seems to get a lot of injuries but they have so many damn riders you hardly even notice it.

It does sound like their current chassis works better as a 450 than a 250.

Mitch needs a reboot. Mainly his riders. But it would be extremely cool to see Pro-Circuit Triumph team right off the bat.

Someone send some doobies over to the PC test track.  Those dudes need to chill.

Need to switch brands... Maybe Triumph.

'05?... Mike Brown was on Yamaha of Troy team in 04-05, then signed with Rockstar Suzuki for '06. What am I missing? Was there an opportunity for him to go back to PC for '06?, because that team was stacked without him..

probably talking about the year he was on Honda with PC support, and according to Brown, the bike was less than stellar?

Nothing wrong with the 250 chassis. Plenty of folks going fast without crashing.

Blame the shooter, not the gun.

Mitch has been pretty open about his parting with Honda.

Brown was up front all year on starts and in the motos. Round 6 at Red Bud he has almost a 25 point lead and everything went to shit. He didn't finish in the top ten the rest of the year I don't think, he switched to Tokyo Mods motors after Red Bud. He was picked for MXDN until he started having bike trouble.

In 05 Brownie was on a Jim’s motorcycle sales Honda built by Mitch until he wasn’t

McAdoo's engine broke, Shimoda's bike locked up on the face of a jump... maybe it is bike related?
