Well then tell us about the performance capabilities and improvements, based on a picture. Different frame geometry, flex and handling characteristics? Air or spring fork on the production bike, and how will they perform? New linkage geometry? Changes to the intake and head? How do they affect torque, peak HP and power delivery? New clutch design? How about the weight? Are the production brakes getting a boost in power? Please, anything you can tell us about the performance capabilities and improvements to the production bike based on a picture is greatly appreciated. In the meantime the conversation will continue to be based on aesthetics because short of something glaring like a reversed cylinder or air shock that's all you can tell from a photo.
Looks like the plastic is a little improved.
This video has some good footage of the new KX. From the Hawkstone International race:
That was AWESOME!!!!!!!!

Track looked nasty. Not sure how much of it was the rider but the KX looked like the most settled bike on the track.
Thanks for post that video, that track looks awesome!
Bike looks awesome! 👍 Thanks for the footage!
All these bikes look the same lol
TBH if you go back to say 1993, then 2002, then 2010.... throughout each era the bikes all follow the same trends. Yes they are similar but they all have their differences.
Today at the Dutch season opener in Lierop.
That is such a good looking bike. Wow.
Lierop ? I thought he was shut down.
Have to say I'm a fan of green fork guards
It was but they managed to re-open.
That's why they made a pre season race to "celebrate" it without beeing part of the Dutch Masters.

It’s a decent traditionally-advanced looking shroud but what’s up with these huge shroud designs lately, i.e. KTM, Gas Gas. The designers are younger generation I guess. Honda always comes through though. Anyway, looks like a nice design but very plastic heavy.
Nice looking! Looks production ready.
All I know is I want one.
Absolutely gorgeous
The manufacturers keep pushing them further forward with more midsection bow, so as not to get hung up on boots, which is a good thing.
Man, Febvre got into some mega tank slappers in both motos in Switzerland. Not sure how to read that. Twitchy on decel or just him feeling comfortable pushing it to the limit since he was the fastest guy on the track at times. He was hauling.
That track looked super edgy and firm. I wouldn’t read into it too much.
It’s a factory bike that likely doesn’t have the same frame. Different steering offset, factory suspension, different wheelbase and is ridden by one of the fastest people in the world. It couldn’t be further from any chassis situation you’ll ever have
I saw Renaux (and others) almost have the bars swapped out of his hands a few times on decel. Those braking bumps looked brutal.
