I think most of you guys need to go here:  https://www.tupperware.com/    More interested in looks and shapes of plastics than performance aspects.  100% of you will never get the most out of the capable current model, so worrying about frame geometry is the last of your worries!   Yeah does look a bit like a KTM, NOT!

It's kinda funny people talking about plastic bothers you, unless you're a paid tupperware advertisement, casually name dropping them everywhere you go.

I do actually agree with your premise that a few mm here or there makes no difference to most of us, but I like seeing new stuff either way.

Poor Richie has time to scrounge through profiles looking at history.  Yeah, it's super amusing to me to read all the comments on plastics!   Remember people saying about the new KTM "Oh, those pointy shrouds will take peoples eyes out".   It's funny reading!!  Most cases, people will not mention anything performance related.

It’s a really good looking bike imo. I’ve always been a big Kawasaki fan since the early 90’s but the current generation was a bit odd looking to me. The new looks really refined.

Looks like Romain won the first moto on it.  I agree that the current gen looks unfinished the way the plastics don’t line up.  This ‘24 looks great.

Early August I can’t wait for it, hoping parts are somewhat faster than the 19 was with the GP teams having it

Nah I remember you talking shit dude, I don't need to look through anything to remember that drivel on repeat time after time 👍

Chuck, nice work on the pics, new Kawi looks mint as does your new build 👍

Loved my 19s (on a 22 350 now)  By the time August hits I'll be ready to buy a 24.

KYB and showa in different motos. He must be undecided on which way to go for the year. Wish the 24 would just come with KYB it would be the biggest improvement

I guess I’m the only one who doesn’t like how it looks. I think it’s a step backward.

#43 is Mitch Evans, he's on KYB. Romain Febvre is on Showa full time I believe

They all look pretty good, but all the brands are getting so indistinguishable in styling cues, aside from their color.

Would like to see pics of the left side of the bike too see what they’ve done with the airbox and shock.

Too funny Richie, yeah, it's a running joke.   Poor kids on Vital, know nothing about bikes, can only pick on the shape of plastics.  As I wrote earlier, people complaining as the latest KTM shrouds would have eye balls removed in any crash, or just passing by.   There's another new bike about to be unveiled, in the next 2 weeks, watch the thread, first thing, 'look at the plastics'.  Nothing about performance capabilities or improvements.  Woohoo

Best i can do…

Wonder if it’s a traditional shock or more like the Honda with horizontal reservoir?

But it has green recyclable plastic…..that can be broken down, gassified, and made into ethanol, methanol products utilized in makeups, cremes, and marketed as recyclable by-products of Kawasaki green plastic. Plus who knows maybe the KX is 10lbs lighter, made with quality Timken bearings, and running no flat tires. 🍺

Airbox cover looks like it might be tool-less now?  Maybe that's where you get to the shock adjusters too?  Either way, I dig the new look!

Compared to the 2023, this bike looks much better from some angles, but from the side it looks a little chunkier to me. A little less streamlined. I like the closed-off airbox. Wish my 2022 KX had a closed airbox panel and open panel, like how KTM comes with both.

I might be tripping, but that looks like the 19-23 frame.

I would be surprised if it wasn't computer modeled like the 250 this year.

You're tripping. Look at the shape of the tubes.

Quite possible. The last pic of Febvre on the starting line the frame looks similar to the 19-23.

Definitely not the 19-23 frame.  Look at the downtube (exhaust exits between the cradle similar to Honda) and the subframe attachment on the exhaust side, its quite a bit higher. I think the bike looks great!  Now I am torn whether I want to trade my 21 for a 23 SR or wait for the 24!  Decisions decisions!

I really love how that thing looks, the more I see it. And if they can just make small improvements to their already good current bike, it should be fantastic.

I agree. The bike is so good as it I hope they just make minor adjustments that won’t alter the feel of the current generation in a negative way.
