Did you catch on the replays Tomac's head bouncing off the ground at Anaheim before he landed on the tuff block?  It didn't look like a gentle hit to me but could have been the angle.

The field is deeper with him in it and I'm looking forward to having him back, but man, I hope he gets good advice and comes only when truly ready.

Another concussion in rapid succession can have serious long-term effects.
