Back on topic, here. Keefer seems to think he'll either be on Kawi or Yamaha, maybe working with the Club guys. On Monday's Pulp show, when Matthes brought up Kenny testing the HEP Zook, JT seemed to have some insider info he wasn't willing to share and sorta shot down the chances of KR94 to HEP.

In all honesty, did anyone actually think he would choose HEP?
Unless he got offered a stupid amount of money, he wasn’t going to actually go there.

Money maybe... But what if he simply liked the feel of the bike? it seems unlikely, but we aren't Kenny and I doubt any of us know what he's thinking.

The green bike still seems most likely, but who's paying the way???

There is a chance, he won a title on a Suzuki and obviously knows how to get the best out of the bike…

True, but he also complained about it after leaving. Much like he did with the KTM and now Honda.

Yeah but when Tomac bitched about the brand he won four titles on, people were all aboard on that. And then Anderson came out swinging on the same bike.

When will people accept that different styles fit different bikes..

In their defense, if I was riding that fast then I’m sure there would be a lot on the bike I’d like to improve/change as well.

Can’t wait to see him lead a race, stall the yellow bike, kick start it and still win.

Vital will blow up!!

Back to the whole homologation thing and Suzuki not passing, back in the day snowmobile racing's homologation requirement was a certain percentage of total imports or manufacture, thereby not harming the small manufacturers.

I dont get why people found that so hard to believe. Its honestly one of those things you can do but that doesnt mean you should. The only current gen 4 strokes you can't start by hand are old yamahas. That's asking for a hospital visit. I remember watching a guys with not so great knees(think of dean wilsons knees) popped one out of socket from his 426 kicking back. I haven't had many 4 strokes kick back if at all since 05ish. But everytime I do the one handed start in the back of my mind im waiting for my luck to run out.

You're joking right? There are multiple 20+ page threads where your fragile little yellow egos cannot take calling your bikes a dinosaur. You resort to posting pictures of your yellow bikes and you all have a smash the like button festival.

I'm gonna take one out of Sandusy26s playbook and dedicate photos to you, in hopes it will improve your mood.

I don’t get it either man, but they didn’t believe it and wanted to see it. They got lucky with me having to grab some stuff from my parents house, so they got their wish. I’m sure a few will still have something to say about it though.

It wouldn't be vital without someone talking shit for no reason!

So to extrapolate these recent posts, because the Suzuki is easy to kick start Roczen will race one? Or any top ten AMA pro? Perhaps a MXGP privateer team will race them? Suzuki's are easy to kickstart so therefore they will sell shitloads of them and they will have high resale values? If you don't have a kickstart only bike you are less of a man? Suzuki's are easy to kickstart so they do have a MotoGP and MXGP team? I really do not see the point, whether Suzuki has a kick starter or not has no bearing on them not giving a solitary shit about the sport or it's participants. They are a manufacturer milking their fans and taking advantage of people's emotional ties to the brand name.

Consider me impressed.

I start my 450 by hand as well, albeit without the fear of wrist or elbow explosions..

Reed podium’d on the bike in 2019 at 37 years of age. Electric start doesn’t make a bike better. I guarantee if Tomac and Sexton had both been on different teams, but both on Suzuki, they still would have went 1-2 in the outdoors. I’ll put money on it.

Dirt bikes have been kickstart only since Mobydick was a minner. Electric start is convenient but not necessary. The only people it will give an advantage to are the guys at the highest level of racing. The rest of us will crash out, look around, drink a water, check out the bike and then maybe hop back on. How does electric start benefit the average mx joe in that situation? I agree it’s convenient but is it necessary?

Reporters asked for a reason for the switch and the Tomacs gave one. Hardly bitching. If I recall, it was more about being allowed the pursue the setup they wanted vs staying inside the box prescribed by KW.

That said, I'm not a KR hater. I like how he shares the thoughts going through his head, even if it means he's complaining about setup. It's better than getting nothing from the riders. With KR, it seems it's always someone complaining about him complaining or someone else complaining that the riders keep their cards too close to their chests.

KR is absolutely an amazing rider, but he calls in sick way too much. The complaints about setup are just him being open with his thoughts, while it sounds whiny, it seems honest. The fading back is probably injury related and I totally respect that. But to pull out halfway through a series, with no identifiable injury, that seems like resume poison for future jobs.. Second tier teams are the result.. it’s a real bummer, he’s one of the greats..
