Something very suspicious to me is the assumption that an AMMEX would belong to anyone but Gary (it was his brand).

Some real mind blowing perspectives on here. Bottom line, the legalese is irrelevant. Whatever property Good bought, has value because of the blood, sweat, and tears put out by Don, Dwayne, and mostly Gary. Considering Gary is the last living member of that early family race unit, HE SHOULD HAVE anything he wants related to his families racing. Anyone not making an effort to see Gary have these physical manifestations of his families racing legacy, since he so dearly wants them, needs to get their head and heart in the right place. I don’t care if it’s his family, a collector, a “friend of Don’s”, whatever. Any decent human being would make sure Gary is cool with these racing heirlooms leaving the family. Considering they didn’t, is proof enough to me that all involved are some low class people.

I look fwd to making the trip to the museum and possibly slobbering like an old hound dog at the sight of the Works Bike's that I dearly loved as a kiddo, I might shed a tear or two also. Just a thought...How will this museum keep the doors open once us older fella's kick the bucket ?? I honestly don't see what the attraction will be to the younger crowd, due to the invasion of the four strokes. The location is way off the charts for prime territory also.

He doesn't need ticket sales to keep the doors open. In fact we are probably lucky he's going to open the door's and let us in.

Really??? Guess our understanding of fund raiser is different. He’s going to pay the rent or mortgage. The utility bills. Joel’s salary. Out of his own pocket indefinitely??? If so that’s great!!! Pretty bad business model though

I guess Gary's prototype open class bike won't be there.

I love the picture of the Elsinore with the red cylinder. Look close and you can see the reed valve setup he had back in the mid 70s. My buddy had one of those setups and it was very fast for the day.

That's because all of Gary's bikes need one more tooth on the rear sprocket. Laughing

What's this a troll or you just trying real hard to earn the "Biggest @ssh@le on the planet award". If you still have teeth, I would imagine you only say these kinds of things behind the safety of your keyboard.

Are you aware that there are people in this world that have a severe medical condition which causes them to be that way? My mom for instance is one of those people. She is a truck driver that has bad knees and a bad back from driving the truck, but you probably do not care about that case either. Oh well, I am not one of those people I am 6'4" 245lbs and I exercise every day. I would love to see you say something like that to my mom in front of me. Probably never happen though, you are probably just an internet tough guy. I doubt very seriously you would say that to someone’s face. Just my thought. What do you think. Oh I am sorry you probably do not have a brain. I, on the other hand, will be happy to buy you a plane ticket to come here and see if you have the nerve to say that to someone I know.

Lol..I wasn't sure if the first post was someone trolling or just being a jerk, but it is pretty clear what this one is.. doing its best to stray as far from the main topic as possible coming from someone who seems to have some (thin) skin in the game. The person gives no location in the USA and has only had 26 posts in the last 13 months.. obviously an alternative screen name for someone who went through a lot of trouble to concoct this convoluted gaslighting argument. I highly suspect we have T.Good, himself, here, if not a close friend. Having seen some of his wacky reactions this would be typical.

Gaslighting is a tactic often used by dishonest people to distract from the main topics or facts they don't like and to discredit people and their arguments, because they don't have solid, rational arguments of their own. Common traits of gaslighting is they diverge from the main topic and often tend to feign (phony) outrage with the details of the argument fairly far fetched. This is what we have here.. an argument that says that all @$$h@les should get a free pass because they might have a medical condition which is not only silly, but also a hypocritical argument since that same person he says he wants to beat up here may have the same medical condition as his "mother".. Lol.. while this is surely gaslighting, it is not a very clever one at all.

So not to let this attempt at gaslighting succeed, back to the main topic... T.Good took Gary Jone's race bikes after Gary told him he wanted to keep them. T.Good persisted and somehow got them from the property of the 93 year old mother, who could have been tricked or coerced easily at her tender age. All they needed was her signature to make it all look nice and legal.

What we don't know is what discussions Don Jones and T.Good had in the distant past although somehow nothing ever transpired during the years of discussion or even many years after Don's death, and T.Good has not shown proof of any written and signed agreement. You would assume he would if he had it since it would strengthen his story and might make him look a little less scummy.

T.Good makes you wonder with his inconsistent comments about how he first has Gary's bikes and then he doesn't have them. We may never know the truth to the details unless Gary Jones and T.Good care to reveal more, but we are pretty sure that T.Good went through a lot of effort to go behind the Champion rider's back to get the bikes for his museum, knowing they meant a lot to Gary, which almost goes without saying. That is the only thing we can give our opinions on.

Lol, I laughed so hard last night when I read your post. I have no links with either side in this matter. I've been following this thread from the beginning and thought it was comical that someone (in this case, you) would play internet tough guy over someone else's lost toys. So I decided to highlight the ridiculousness of your words by copying and pasting one of the oldest internet rants around. Judging by your response and some thumbs down, it went right over some of your heads! Oh, well...lol! By the way, my opinion on Gary's predicament is, if your own family sells items from under you, you have very peculiar family dynamics to be addressed (privately), before publicly ranting about a stranger who was just (understandably) looking for his own interests.

This is still going then. This thread has only made 2 things clear to me, Mr. Good seems shady and Gary was fast back when but now comes across like a bitch as an adult.

What is significant and interesting is what is NOT being said.

So roughly based on what i have read:
- Gary is not saying what has happened is illegal - its about respect to Gary.
- T.Good doesn’t mention anything about working things out with Gary. Its about legal rights with T.Good.

Gary should have bought those bikes from his parents long ago if he wanted control.....they were never his to worry about what happened to them.
