He was the fastest rider in the world that year.

I don't know but seeing his wife and son in front of me the whole second moto was awesome. She was sending the vibes for sure.

I posted this because on one lap late in moto 2 it appeared like he was yelling something at the mechanics area as he went by, it was not normal so there was something going on. And then after Moto 2 he started going off under the tent and complaining about something to the people in his corner.

The fact that he is heated and angry after the moto and after finishing a close 3rd is a good sign......the ole dogs got some fight left in him.

Very few of the top Pro's are happy with 2nd's and 3rd's.

* Anderson doubling the step down left corner was a beauty to watch.

That was 12 years ago and strangely he looked a lot like Sexton.

I was not going to reply to any of the stuff on this thread... but we all have to, frankly, be wondering what is going on with this guy. He's SUPER fast in the first laps of a moto. Look at the speed he shows... the doubles he does, lines etc in the first 5 laps. Those are the laps where you're not dialed in on track changes etc...and the guy can send it in those laps. He is clearly going super fast. Then he seems to drop anchor.

It's really strange. It's not like he's going to be tired after 5 laps with the riding/training etc... but he seems to slow down a LOT from the first 5-6 laps till the end of the moto.

This is some strange stuff. That's all I have to say.. no clue why.... but I've never seen that kinda speed just go away every race... like he's shown. WTH is going on with this guy??? No clue

Seriously?

Roczen is still one of the fastest riders in the world. He can still produce a single lap to top qualifying amongst the best in the world and has that explosive intensity at the start of races where he can run down nearly anyone. That’s so amazing to watch.
BUT his body can no longer maintain elite level speed for much more than ten minutes. That in turn, must be very frustrating and extremely difficult to manage mentally.
Glad he’s still out there though, the majority of riders wouldn’t be.

I do wonder if Kenny sets his bike up for the start of races when the track is smooth, so when it goes away he struggles?

Same explosive speed in 2016, always got to the front in 1 lap or so, then dialed it back to maintain the lead. Maybe when he does that 2022 he can't recover. But a 3rd in a USA outdoor national aint exactly going slow. Yea, I saw him yelling at the mechanics board area, weird. I bet JA21 knows

I thought he was turning away from roost? But I could be thinking of a different part of the Moto

Kenny should take up golf. Makes you control your anger when you suck

Seems you need a new sport to watch, if you think Ken sucked, and if you think everyone needs to be happy and polite at all times.

Dude was one spot out of the overall! Solid day for anyone I think. I hit rewind to watch him triple the step down to pass the “coffee man” Laughing He’s still a force and he’s four motos from finishing a grueling series. That’s a win!!

Since this thread got WAY off the original question....I noticed early in moto 2 Ken was taking multiple pulls at tear-offs when behind Dunge, looked like they didn't release right and pulled his goggles off his face. After the moto I believe that was Kenny Day his Fox gear guy. To me, Ken was letting him politely know of the issue.

Man it gets old hearing the top riders in the world suck lol understand how many people would retire from a regular job with his injuries let alone race at an elite level. He rode great yesterday 💪👍

Nobody is saying otherwise. Roczen is a perpetual fan favorite and he can freaking ride.

It's how he keeps setting himself up with some of his outbursts and comments.

I thought I saw him go by the mechanics area in the race and appeared to look over as if he was pissed. Then after the race he was visibly pissed about something. Waved his arms as if someone was holding a pit board in front of him or something.
Somebody went to Der Wienerschnitzal and didn't tell him.

I guess they were not "careere ending injuries"if hes still racing now where they? You guys need to quit bring that old shit up and making excuses for him.
