Flo has had issues for me. When trying to watch qualifying this last weekend it kept saying Broadcast starting soon. Was working on Mav though. I just stayed on MAV and didn't use Flo for the races.

The weekend before at redbud when trying to watch the races it kept playing the start of qualifying over. I had to fast forward thru all of qualifying before it would start the moto's live.

I got 2 separate emails from them this afternoon, less than an hour apart saying 2 different things about subscription $$ moving forward so who knows what the truth is. Both did say the same thing about MAVTV+ ending today however. There is no chance I am giving FLO any money until this whole thing gets ironed out and is running smoothly for some time. This has been an unbelievable fiasco.

The email came from Lucas Oil Products Inc. I use their products. Recently I was looking for some new investments and spent a few minutes checking them out. (They are privately owned..., so..., nope.) For 2021, they reported revenues (not profits) of $500,000,000.00. They have ~ 500 employees. (You don't need a calculator to figure out that that's revs of $1 million per employee.) Good for them..., I wish they were public. But..., I don't think they've exactly gone out on a limb to provide live coverage of AMA Pro MX. Now, I don't know what they earn from the MX crowd, and I don't know what they pay out to provide MX live; but I'm pretty sure that they are doing just fine. I'm not sure if I'm willing to contribute to this fiasco by subscribing to Flo. I'm going to skip watching the races this weekend, just to see if I can... But if Dungey wins, I may give his wife a knife.

what was the issue? was it a matter of not being able to handle all the additional traffic from motocross? I was able to watch other events and even qualifying trouble free, I only ever had issues when trying to watch the races live, whenI would imagine they had the most web traffic.

What a bummer. I’ve had 0 problems aside from one of the earlier rounds cutting out mid moto, and the motos being uploaded 72 hours after the event ends..

This is funny, sad, disappointing, not unexpected, and actually fitting for motocross.

I have been in moto for decades and this is par for the course with the sport as a whole. Sure, some of you will disagree but it is true. No big deal in reality though. We still get to watch it live if we want to so that is good.

Just deleted the app from my phone. Going with bootleg streams from here on out or just youtube highlights. For the life of me i dont understand why they dont make a subscription based you tube channel and just run the races live on there.

I wonder if next season it will continue to be on Flo. After this special period of time where they are honoring the same price as MavTV… the price will automatically jump up to $150.00 annually.

Be sure to check if it auto renews on you later and you get charged $150.00

That’s a steep ask to be able to watch the nationals in 2023.

Hopefully there will be some kind of MX only package offered.

I’m a die hard fan, have watched the races live for years on Tv and then been a subscriber to NBC Sports and then Peacock for as long as it was an option.

$150.00 to watch motocross will be a very hard sell. Not even because the money. I’m just not sure the value/production justifies that cost.

I can pay and watch. I can also not pay and not watch just as easily to be honest.

I completely refuse to buy Flosports app because they won't publish what their subscription cost is without giving them your email information so they can send you call kinds of bullshit down the road. WTF is up with that?

I just want to know (BEFORE I BUY OR GIVE THEM MY CONTACT INFO) how much the subscription is and what comes with it.

Anytime any entity does this, its because they know their shit is over priced and they feel like they have to get the meat hooks in or else people won't buy their shit. I refuse to go this route simply on that fact. Flosports - just show everyone your fucking subscription pricing up front so we know what it is. Your marketers should be fired.

Flo’s business model is to lead you to believe that you can pay monthly, I’m glad you’re aware you’ll get popped for $150 in January.

There’s a reason their better business reviews are what they are.

I’ll stand by what I’ve said, Fuck flo! They killed Snocross for me and unless I pick up a job wrenching for a team I may never see a race again. I will not pay $150 every January.

They will also actively pull any new motos off YouTube. Those that pirate/post them will have to get cleaver with what they title them or they will get pulled quickly.

Partnering with flo is going to hinder viewership. And no moto guy wants to pay $150 for outdoors then spend the other 9 months of the year watching four wheelers and high school sports.

Their vagueness is initial, if it wasn’t they would have changed their policy’s instead of getting 300+ better business bureau complaints a year.

Just a heads up after reluctantly signing up for Flo, they charged me the $6.99 right away and said that’s my subscription, then I looked in my account settings and it said my next payment for august is scheduled to be $29.99.

Can’t make it up…it seems reletively easy to cancel so I’m going to go ahead and do that. Zero reason watching our sport should cost me what a gym membership would cost.

Flo seems like a scheisty bs company to deal with. I won't be signing up for it because I don't want to lose $29.99 or $150 to the fine print. It's sad that our sport has sunk to the level of dealing with this kind of company.

I did the cheap monthly thing with Flo and will cancel as soon as the nationals are done. If they expect me to pay 150 to watch next year, well....they can expect all they want.
