Cairoli to race first 2 rounds of Ama Pro mx

Edited Date/Time 4/30/2022 11:06pm
Look at his profile.
He's going to race the first 2 rounds, my guess is that if he is fast enough to be in the top 3 he is going to make all the rounds.

I herd decoster was trying to tell him. If he wants to race for USA redbull ktm he has to race all the rounds. They won't just put him on the team for 2.
So will that mean he does the whole series?
Or will he be a factory privateer?

Depends how much he’s been riding, maybe be 5-10th.

He's been riding a lot, like 3 days a week. Been testing/helping to develop the new bike.

Yeah no, Cairoli as a factory privateer.😂

Although the PR says two, there's been talk of him going longer. I'd bet he does more than two.

That’s awesome. I’m going to Pala this year: my first-ever US National. Can’t wait now!

Stoked! Hope he does more. Looking in my crystal ball, he'll be hovering around the top 5, if he does more and feels good at one race he's a dark horse for a win!

So, how likely does this make Webb or Herlings not racing the nationals now? If Jeffrey heals up and is in, surely they won't be running a 4 man team?

Add Husky and Gasgas and they will have more than half of the top 10?

Motoworldtv mate, £35 for the season. I paid full whack last year via NBC for MX and Supercross TV app for SX, while already knowing about motoworldtv, to support the sport but ended up resented the cost for the quality and constant crashing over here... Switched this year, way cheaper and actually better (same streams, they just work).

They also have Supercross and MXGP options.

MAVtv plus is 7$ a month, and it's for international users too, why would you pay 35£, way more, for anything else? Especially for an unlawful and very fragile website like that, it won't take much for MXSports or MAVtv themselves to take the whole thing down as soon as the first stream is up

He should race some more Nationals. Specifically Southwick Unadilla and Budds Creek. LoL and maybe High Point too

I hope he does more than just the first 2. Mostly because IMO those are my 2 least favorite tracks on the schedule. If you're coming to race only 2 select events, you'd have to think Red Bud, Unadilla, High Point, Washougal, Buddy Creek, Southwick, Spring Valley, or Ironman would be more desirable.

That said, you can't race the full series if you don't race the first 2.

Because just the Supercross pass here is £120 and the 'fragile' option has been ten times more reliable than the last two seasons of paying three times as much to Supercross Live...

Fair point on the nationals though, didn't know MavTV was okay for international, although there's barely any real difference in the price, but NBC international wasn't $7 a month last year, it was way more here too (again, the past few years I used the more legit options and both were disappointing although NBC was better).

But back to Cairolli...

Yeah confirmed for the first two, i hope he does more. I don't think Pala and Hangtown are the greatest tracks for him.

Was that just a guess or you have an inside line? People the leak stuff like this is the only reason I come on here. Get some good info. And you think Jeffery H. Is in for sure? All the rounds?

Pretty good authority.

The Herlings part is more iffy and can fall apart at any time due to health etc. but that is the plan.

Two IFs and two THENs:

IF Cairoli comes over and does very well at a few select races despite being "retired."

IF Herlings not only wins our "National" title but dominates the series.

THEN, does Supercross just expand it's schedule and finish killing off the Nationals once and for all?

THEN, does MXGP come over to the States and have Red Bud, Washougal, Millville, and Southwick host MXGP races?

Sweet news! Hopefully he does the entire season, he could easily be KTMs top guy here. In typical AC fashion I’m sure he’s been downplaying his goals and that this is just for fun. Either way it’s a privilege for anyone who gets to see him ride. Hopefully he adapts to the tracks quickly.

I hope he comes out swinging! He can still be insanely fast, like the race in turkey last year. Caught everyone includong herlings from behind and was on FIRe the last laps. He can also be so so if hes npt comfortable and "gives up" easily. I think thats just his age speaking. Dude is 37 this year.

No and no.

Awesome, he'll do well. Should be a 4-8ish guy I think. He wouldn't line up if he felt like he'd be riding around 10-15th. I'm sure his buddy Lupino told him all he needs to know
