I think Tomac should not 'try' to lock it up next week as he said. Just ride smart and take whatever the race gives him like today.

One more week makes no difference in the big picture. Anderson will try to rough him up if given the chance.

That's just incredible on a track like this.

The track was pretty beat up when he did it on the second last lap of a main event battling for a position. The track is then touched up so the 450s get a bunch of laps on a track that is in better condition than it was when Jett did his fast lap.

It's also a much longer track than usual and has far less laps put into it. A 15 lap 450 main event instead of the 20+ we normally get. Sorry but I thought it was impressive for an 18 year old kid on a 250 to have a faster lap time in his main even than even the best 450 riders in the world on a bit more open style track. For two of the guys on the podium to have faster laps than Tomac who just regularly stomps the field doing ridiculous stuff.

If u look at the lap times jetts fastest lap was on the 2nd last lap. It must have been the lap he was in free air and caught Jo.
Most other riders 250 and 450 did there fastest laps in there first 3 laps.
Tomac and sexton on lap 2
2nd last lap of the 250 main and 2nd lap of the 450 main. The track is basically the same. If not slightly better for the 450s as they did a touch of track maintenance.
cwel11 wrote:
Well that settles it then. Jett woulda won the 450 class today.
Where has anyone said he would have won the 450 class today? Other than you taking an odd leap in logic that people being impressed by his speed means the guy who finished 3rd in 250s would have somehow won the 450s?

Jett will no doubt be like Sexton early on in his 450 career when he makes the jump.

The track is always much worse during the 450 main. It’s not even a fair comparison.

Did anyone else see the ktm in the back of the mule with no forks and front wheel when they were showing the finishing results on the broadcast? I think it was the same bike that was at the beginning of the sand split lane a few laps before the finish

He’s driving it to the St. Jude’s auction pile. Looks to be worth a couple hundred for the kids.

The way Chase was flat landing some of the jumps I was waiting for his frame, triple clamps... something to snap also. He was giving it everything out there.

They have that much power over you? They're not that bad. Racing was good, broadcasting was good, I was entertained. Glad it wasn't a total mudder I enjoy these longer hybrid tracks and it was awesome to see JA get the win and force eli into closing it up in Denver, that stadium is going to be loud!

I like Leigh. If anyone makes it unlistenable it's Harris but, like you said, none of them bother me THAT much

Would love to see Forkner put it to the other 2 tops guys. Just to make it more interesting.

Yea...I like Jett okay but getting tired of them talking point leads like Jett has accomplished more then Craig. Uhhh...he took out his main competition by riding careless. I know he didn’t mean to but it was his fault.. everyone seems to forget Forkner was right with Jett speed wise and would have got some wins and been right there points wise. The losses to the West were not Craig’s fault. I really wish Jett had not taken himself out of the West.

Nothing is over. True Eli has been the man this year. Has he even been on the ground? Definitely riding smart. However there are other guys next to him when the gate drops and things go sideways quick. Anything can happen in racing.

Nah u got the Craig stat wrong.
If Craig got 19th and Hunter wins. They will go into the final showdown equal on points.
Jett is 47 points up.
Craig is 23 points up.
Craig needs to gain 3 more points then hunter.
