Interesting that no one ever talked about Febvre going to the States to ride. It’s always about whether Herlings will.
It would be awesome, but I think he's out for the full year since his first surgery didn't heal well and he has to have another.

Is KTM Europe willing to not have a factory bike in MXGP this year? Seems to me that would be the deciding factor no matter how much we want to see him in the US.

He will only be racing the first 2 nationals. Herlings will be the entire season.

The nationals might get pushed back a month or so. Since it’s still only 42 for a high at LL in Tn. And snowing in the Midwest and north east.

With Mxgp being completion against the nationals would they want to give the nationals that big of a helping hand in ratings. Could steal a lot of lime light from mxgp especially if he doesn’t do great

Would be a mistake for him to come over here against that Blue #3 bike...

All the "he's afraid of Tomac, he'll get smoked" comments are annoying, but they're exactly what will make Herlings want to come race here. So I'll just sit back with my fingers crossed...

A healthy Herlings for an entire season just may be our best chance to see a good series.

I'm the type that usually gives the defending champ the odds to win because he deserves it but mixing Eli's style with the horsepower of the Yamaha just may be the perfect storm. Eli could be in for his best season.

Good thing there aren't any nationals in TN and not in the midwest until the middle of the year...

You guys have the pleasure of riding year round. In the middle of winter your tracks are ridable ours are mud

Not a herlings fan, but I think he would easily contend for the title if he stays healthy.

I think for Herlings sake we would not want a brutally hot summer. Seems like you always need a year to adjust.

If he does come over, let's hope he brings a MXGP-quality, live streaming service with him.

It would be a good time right now, Tomac hasn't been on this level since Honda last time Herlings was in US Tomac was not at the highest of his level(Honda) but now it would be very interesting to see how those 2 would go.

What about this: Send Marv back to MXGP for KTM. He might enjoy it, not sure about wins, but would probably be a podium threat if he's on form.

Didn’t RD5 win both titles and I can’t remember anyone calling him the fmotp.

Would be a real kick in the teeth to all the KTM guys already here. Especially Musquin who doesn't have a outdoor contract yet.

I don't think Marv is sitting out the outdoors because he's too slow lmao

On average it takes the human body about 2 weeks to acclimatize

Herlings didnt have problems when guys passed our or needed IV at hottest MXGP fly away races so he should be ok.

I assume you're talking about the WW Ranch race?? I was struggling and I wasn't even riding, but Herlings smoked everyone during the hottest part of the year. Pretty unlikely any of the tracks this year are worse as far as climate goes.
