He is a prime example of Craig having no knowledge or respect of other riders in this sport and the hardships they faced to get where they were.
I don't know if I'd go that far. He could be talking in the context of who he's racing these days.

No worries. We've all got our opinions and I'm very cool with that.

Imagine if we had all these human interest stories during the broadcast back in the 90's. "In his off time, Jeff likes to party in Temecula..."

I'm quoting Craig himself but he puts himself on his own high horse. He literally told the media that no one has had a career like his. Referring to injuries and comebacks. How the hell has no one called him out on him saying that? It's a ridiculous take on himself. So many riders have fought back from massive injuries and have had huge success from it as well. I don't get how the media can just hear that and go on without saying anything. The guys has ridden for multiple factory teams 250 and 450 at this point. It's not like he was out there scrapping it on his own dime as a privateer.

This is so annoying. Can we chill with the "real job" bullshit? Didn't he get a job with a company his wifes dad owns or something? Not neccesarily the same as you going to put an an application at a local construction outfit. Also, do we just forget the fucking millions of dollars he made in his career prior to that point? Literally I remember him at lorettas in 2007 showing up in a fucking million dollar coach with custom decals on it before he was even pro. The dude has not had to "struggle" a day in his life jesus. Yes he has had injuries but who hasn't?

Also, he got fucking 3rd place at the last 450 national...yes 450.. and hes racing a 250 REGIONAL class with Derek Kelly and Robbie Wageman (no disrespect to these guys at all) are battling for top tens... Hes a fucking 30 year old who has had a factory ride for 10+ years and he is on the best bike and best team in the sport right now.
He was actually a laborer...how many people get jobs because of who they know? You're going to hold that against him? He was not making millions of dollars you're being ridiculous. He's not making millions of dollars now.

He's said he wants to be 450, he didn't get an offer, whats he supposed to do? He also can't help who else signs up for the coast. Its not his fault Jett got hurt and others.

Friese dropped down, where's the hate for that? Craig is 34th in career 250 starts. Blose has more, Zacho had more, Mookie had more, Oldenburg, Peters etc... So who cares, he hasn't been that great until last couple of years.

I thought he was the site supervisors assistant? Like he sat in the truck and called the guys who were late? He was on pulp a couple times during that time and talked a lot about it. Actually, I think he was in studio once. I do believe I remember him saying he only worked a few days a week because he was doin therapy. I’m gonna try and find it.

I can’t believe Pulp would compare CC coming through the pack to Stew coming through the pack. Example look up 2014 Toronto. He came through a real pack of 450 guys, RD, RV, Barcia, Roczen, Brayton, Peick, Wilson.

CC is coming through who that compares to that?

Pulp is laughable in that good lord.🤣

Dude I agree. The racing is great. Vince is getting more publicity than every rider in the class combined. If it wasn’t for Vince this series would be painful to watch. No pun intended.

If you listened you’d know Steve said like stew on a 125, and he’s not wrong. CC was passing 4 guys at a time in some spots, like the whoops and the long rythym. It was incredible to watch. My eyes were glued to him that entire moto.

Dude stop it. CC will never ever be on Stews level its not even a close comparison. Stew was blowing by future 125 champs like Ivan Tedesco, and past 125 champs Like Grant Langston all while riding a 125 when the majority of the field was on 250fs especially in 04. CC is passing kids 8 years younger then him who have limited sx experience while he is on the best equipment out there arguably. Its an insult to Stew in every way to even be having this conversation. The guy was beating the class by 48 sec leads at some point. Leave the mans 125 legacy alone at least. Lastly 259s style and fox gear was always so on point no one has even come close since.

No one can ever touch his fashion sense! And you’re saying this as you complain about Matthes’ man crush? Matthes even said he has a man crush on Stew too so take it easy. How dare anyone compare anything ever done to Stew? So insulting. I heard he makes the best French toast too.

You're missing my point. Craig's story is incredible and clearly he is talented. My point is he is oblivious to what hardships others have gone through chasing the same dream. He literally said he is the only one who has had a career like his with injuries and such.
Yeah, If he's being oblivious to others' struggles, then that's a bad thing.
I took it to mean that he's simply been through a ton of injuries and time off the bike, and doesn't want anyone else to go through that. I also think it's a podium interview, and that he didn't articulate what he was trying to say perfectly.
I could be wrong, but he doesn't across as the type of person who could care less about anyone else.
It seems like the whole group, while rivals, are friends.

Was Toronto the race RV2 was sick and at the hospital all morning before the race?

Was that also the race that JS7 was suspended right after? Don't remember.

Speaking strictly for myself, I can have respect for someone and still not like them. I have respect for him, I just don't like him. I don't like everyone in my everyday life and some don't like me, no big deal. Life goes on.
