RaceFace58 Added a reply to Discussion for those that have ordered a Stark Varg..everyone else go away!
10/29/2022 1:39am I guess if I see “pre-sales of $9mil” that means money in hand to me. If you say pre sales of $9 mil when it’s only 750 $100 deposits, that’s $75,000 in hand as you pointed out. weirder yet is I thought I read early on that he had 5,000 deposits in the first 24 hours. Whatever I guess. In...

RaceFace58 Added a reply to Best place to practice for Loretta Lynn's in So Cal?
10/29/2022 1:20am Would you rent the track for one day? A week? A month? 3 months? If the idea is to prep for LLs that’s a longer term proposition. Has this racer ever done LLs before? If you have that kind of money the riding somewhere East suggestion is the way to go. about 3 months worth
RaceFace58 Added a reply to What is the next big innovation in bikes?
10/29/2022 1:09am The next big “innovation” will be some sort of electronic adjustment platform that you need a subscription to to use. Stark Varg will already have that in place.

10/29/2022 1:06am I’m sure all (however many races they cobble together) next year will all be under a roof too? And I guess steel becomes softer and more forgiving under a retractable roof as well. I don’t understand how moto people want to defend shit that is so non-moto. There is some feeble reason they are using a metal ramp JUST on...
RaceFace58 Added a reply to Vince Friese interview can be found
10/29/2022 12:46am I bet nowhere in either rule book does it say you can’t offer another rider money to takeout a rider. That doesn’t mean they can’t punish a person for it. It’s beyond egregious. It isn’t comparable to fouling out at a YMCA game for an NBA player. It is on an egregious level of said player gambling on NBA games...
RaceFace58 Added a reply to Vince Friese interview can be found
10/29/2022 12:29am The AMA can do what they want to protect riders. They aren’t forced to be unable to take any action simply because it happened somewhere else. It should be the team though. It DID happen on their team and to their other team rider. Vince is a negative impact as a sponsored rider now. No team should want him riding...
RaceFace58 Added a reply to Finish Line Crash from WSX
10/29/2022 12:16am There’s no reason to use it. There are lots of reasons not to. First would be if it rains it’s like ice. See the Red Bull straight rhythm where it rained and guys were spinning out on the start (a downhill ramp). 2md if someone crashes onto it it’s completely dangerous as it’s steel with sharp edges. Riders said that...
RaceFace58 Added a reply to Remember Jerry Barnardo?
10/29/2022 12:03am I remember a mention in Trail Rider about Jerry Bernardo being there (whichever race it was) riding a borrowed bike, wearing borrowed gear and living on borrowed time. Clipper was good.

10/28/2022 11:50pm The ONLY reason a metal ramp was there was for the FMX sideshow. If that’s a good reason to have it on a SX track then so be it but it’s a horrible reason if you’re being honest. This asshole point about it remaining constant and not rutting up I respond to by asking why not use a metal ramp...

10/26/2022 10:10am MCR did win the Tesm Title. Whatever that’s worth.

10/26/2022 10:09am Purses were good but paid out differently as they went to the teams. Some guys saw none of the purse as part of their team contracts others saw percentages of it etc. again I heard not one word about title winnings. In AMA racing you get the bonuses from the teams not the series. These teams aren’t the OEMs. If...
RaceFace58 Added a reply to Discussion for those that have ordered a Stark Varg..everyone else go away!
10/26/2022 10:04am That is true. The thing is I found an article on Forbes magazine website touting how he had all the orders as paid sales in a 24 hour period. Not even close to the truth. I hope no investors were suckered in by any false claims.

RaceFace58 Added a reply to Is the sport getting too soft?
10/26/2022 9:53am The only guys who made a shitload of money are Tomac and Roczen just for showing. Whatever purse they win helped. I doubt Kenny made all that much more for the title. I never heard WSX hyping the title winnings amongst all the other hype they brought. Oh wait, the WSX guys also made a shitload of money. The big...

RaceFace58 Added a reply to Brayton Post Race Interview about Friese
10/25/2022 8:19pm Contracts lmfao! Cancel culture are the ones who want crimes to go unpunished which your take sounds a bit too much like. What’s wrong with cancel culture is they go after people who did nothing wrong, they just decided they don’t like it. Vince clearly did something very very wrong here and there’s no defending it. Harlan didn’t just decide...
RaceFace58 Added a reply to Brayton Post Race Interview about Friese
10/25/2022 7:56pm Some things you can’t claim to be a joke and expect those in authority to accept it. He would never do that anyway because it’s admitting he said it. He will deny until he’s blue in the face. Imagine anyone but Brayton when the guy is sitting there saying you’re a baby because I’m a better rider. I think some...
RaceFace58 Added a reply to Have any factories ever experimented with the space within the frame?
10/25/2022 4:24am Little known fact is that Honda went to the aluminum frame to separate the low end powerband from the mid top. They could house the low end in the right soar and the mid top power band in the left. Previously it was all one powerband located in the down tube.
