There was no bonus for him or brayton according to brayton himself.
Wrong. Listen to the Brayton interview; he says his contract is "vastly different" from Vince. There is no confirmation either way.
Doesn't change the storyline much, in my opinion, but it's not known.
Brayton did say Freise's contract was different than his.
But agreed, it changes very little, however while I totally believe it is more than possible, and JB is as straight-up as they come from everything you hear about him, we gotta hear the other side.

Actually Brayton said he has no idea what Vince's contract is like. He wouldn't even know if it was vastly different than his own. It was all speculation and he worded his words like he had no clue what kind of deal Vince had. Brayton is a pretty factual guy and chooses his words wisely.

Weird, because he LITERALLY said their contacts are vastly different. Listen to Pulp.

I must have heard him wrong. Could of sworn he said he would of understood if Vince had a big bonus on the line but that wasn’t the case.
I'm not sure an interview with Vince would be really revealing. All he'll do is defend his flagrant takeout attempt and possible paid hit on a teammate. I would like to know his "official" stance, however.
The part where he claims to be better than Brayton is a classic. If you think you're better, why do you have to take the guy out to beat him?
Purses were good but paid out differently as they went to the teams. Some guys saw none of the purse as part of their team contracts others saw percentages of it etc. again I heard not one word about title winnings. In AMA racing you get the bonuses from the teams not the series. These teams aren’t the OEMs. If the series paid a huge win amount we would have heard all about it and how much it is. Kinda like Monster Cup hypes it.
So the AMA should blackball a rider for something he did at a glorified fair race? That's like saying the NBA should ban a player for fouling too much in a pickup game at the YMCA. I agree Vince is a tool, but c'mon.

You wouldn’t take out someone for that payday?
