Question on that type of Jersey...is that outer layer attached to the under jersey or two separate pieces. Is there a benefit to this kind of Jersey or just different for difference sake? Have seen pics of Jerseys like this but have not seen one in person.
Most of us thought that previously about Webb, then title #1.
Fitness sure.. but this looks like weight loss
RC, RV, Osborne, Webb...
Pit Row
From a fairly broad-shouldered guy to that is a huge change. Can't wait to see him this year. Mookie fighting for a title would be huge for the sport.
I dont think he is a title guy, but if AP and Mookie were going at it for a title just like the year they were going for the 250 title, that would be awesome. The dance moves after each win would be great!
I could see Mookie getting a win!
Can't wait to see him out there.
I bet we'll have a ton of Mookie blitzin the Whoops videos to jaw drop over.
There’s also the psychological element of restricting diet and the focus that brings to race day. When you sit down three times a day to choke down ugly, tasteless but healthy food, you’re confronted with your sacrifices in an unavoidable and existential way. Things stop being fun when you’re eating joyless food that leaves you hungry when the plate is clean. Cianciarulo and RV both got burned out by this, but it also contributed to their success. The weight of those sacrifices during the weekly grind gets heavier and to do it all for bad results is simply unacceptable.
I’ve been a big fan of Mookie for years because he’s been one of the more interesting and enjoyable riders on and off the track. If this plan works, I think we’ll see a better racer but a less charismatic #27 this year.
I look forward to seeing what Mookie can do on such an established program. What a talent he is.
