Fedex ground is indepedent contactors for the last mile. In our area, nobody wants to work, they all collect unemployment in this blue state and go to the beach. Rmatvmc. Only uses fedex ground and not ups on the east coast. They used to use ups. I ordered june 23. Wanted to ride that weekend. Checked tracking and my heart sunk when i saw a fedex number. Promptly called rmatvmc to ask them to hold the package for pickup at fedex facility thus avoiding fedex ground. They refused. After 10 days it was at local facility for 7, i call back they still refuse. I then get parts elsewhere, i then ask for refund on july 8 they refuse, they need package back first. Today jul 28 its still at locsl fscility now for a month, but they still refuse and btw they refuse to use ups even at my expense. My next order i phoned in and despite meeting the $75 free ship i had to pay $17 to ship usps and no oils. It wasnt thier
Problem to start. They madr it into one. East coasters avoid fedex and rmatvmc. I diputed with cc company. I am done making phone calls.

It appears to me, he has attempted to do all the right things. I also understand posting his concern here does nothing to remedy his situation, but at least he is letting others know to beware. Nothing more.
I really don't really see it necessary to attack the spelling errors... But if it gets your rocks off? Then be that guy.
I also blame RMATV for using FedEx Ground though. I ordered two tires recently, one shipped via ontrac and arrived in two days, the other by FedEx Ground and arrived over a week later.

Ultimately, American businesses just don't have the skill or technology yet to be able to add a feature to our online accounts to permanently exclude regionally problematic carriers. Someday we'll evolve far enough as a species to be able to grasp html. I'm hoping my grandkids won't be dealing with it in the 2100's, but I suspect it will take even longer.
It's when being shipped by USPS that delivery is ever delayed here.
I most recently ordered from RMATV on June 4th. They shipped on June 5th and arrived on June 9th via FedEx. I also order on April 20, they shipped the same day via FedEx and arrived on April 23rd. I am also on the east coast (NC).
I've always been happy with their service.
Anyways, Currently in the same boat. RM got my stuff out quick for next day but FedEx botched it.

Anyway this post was just to make others aware that if you are an east coaster, and you need parts to race next week, you may want to take this into consideration. Also i would bet it will get back to rmatvmc and they may think about it also.

Amazon pays more to start than Fed Ex express pays after 3 years of service. In fact, Fed Ex express pays more to start than it does employees with three years of service due to the lack of pay increases. Morale is in the gutter. Fed Ex stopped contributing to the pension plan and people who started after 1/2020 aren't eligible for a pension at all. Even though Fed Ex pays roughly $3-$5 hour less than the competition for package handlers they refuse to consider raises. This is why service is so bad. Food for thought when ordering online this holiday season.
Fed Ex express is the parent company, Fed Ex ground is the contacted company. Many of my peers including managers are leaving express for ground which would have been unbelievable a few years ago.
I don't know of anyone who is quiting to lie on the beach and collect government checks. If that were an option no one would be working.
