The bike was gurgling all day per multiple sources. Marchbanks also had issues during that race and even made gestures when passing by the mechanics area indicating something was going on with the bike. It's pretty obvious it wasn't Chase's fault. Can't believe we're still talking about this.

The main reason to have a factory race team is to sell bikes and create a positive image around the brand. Haiden Deagan’s personality seems to be polarising, half his fans, particularly the GenZ youngsters love his outgoing aura and social media presence whilst the other 50% hate his brashness, dirty riding and particularly his reluctance to step forward and race for Team USA at the MxoN. Does Deagan create a positive image for Yamaha and actually sell bikes?. Has anyone here on Vital actually bought a bike because of his results?

Just wanted to stop by and thank our boys for showing up and going. Juju last minute for stepping up on the 450 and Coop for going on a brand new bike. Gentlemen type shit 🇺🇸

My favorite race of the year. It's the only race in which every one of us fans has something at stake. Huge respect to Coop, Juju and Levi for stepping up. In the years to come Doucheboy is going to regret turning down the honor because he wanted money. Short-sighted, greedy, and typical of the Deegan grift. Don't even invite him in 2028. You know he's not going next year.

Yup and his teammate who did plenty of winning said if he had switched brands he wouldn't have retired. Yes it was paradise at Kawi.

Eli doesn’t seem to be the guy that’s scared to get his hands dirty. I picture him working on his ranch, tending to things that need fixed. Turning wrenches, hunting, farming

Eli seems like the kind of person who stays busy no matter what he is doing...racing or not. I'd be willing to bet he won't miss racing one bit. Well, maybe a little bit. But, more of a relief than anything. Time for a normal life hopefully.

Probably doesn't feel any different to a normal off-season yet but come Nov, Dec when he's used to getting back into boot camp and grinding out laps it'll start to set in.

I can't imagine the tomacs know what a casual mountain bike ride is lol I think it'd be really cool for him to take a little bit of his dad's career and maybe take a shot at some downhill and or Enduro mountain bike racing! But I could see him racing some Porsches in the future.

It would be interesting to hear some of these guys talk about what it's like when it's over. Presumably Tomac has spent a large portion of his waking hours for the last 20 years concentrating on training, riding and dieting. Is it a relief to not have to worry about that? After a month of not worrying about it, do you start to wonder about the purpose of your life going forward? I'm sure different people have different reactions. But that's a lot of inertia in his life that he has to slow down. For some guys, I don't think...
