I”m a fan of all these guys and I enjoy and respect the riders from abroad, no disrespect to them at all. Our series, US Nationals are much better with riders from around the world 100%. I made that mistake in my younger years not fully appreciating JMB. Yes and no. If you take two riders with identical fitness, genetics, will to win and what ever variables that comes to mind, the one with the best technique will win. RC could compensate his lack of finess with fitness and will. But if he had been up against a rider with the same amount of will and fitness but could ride like Everts, Windham, or a guy like Jett he would have a harder time to win.
