Webb's a bad azz. While I appreciate his candor and straight forward approach, it's his skills, race craft and work ethic I admire most. Additionally, the guy just seems unflappable. He flat out has earned and deserves this championship. Also, it'll be nice to see the Austrians win another championship. Hate them as you will, but no other manufacturer devotes as much time and effort to dirt bike racing than KTM.

" He cracked, I didn't" This about sums up why I like Webb. He rides fast, talks straight, plays head games, doesn't make excuses and is a damn smart rider. Roger didn't hire him for his good looks. Webb is a guy that hates to loose more than he loves to win and that is the mindset most champions have.

I have always been a Roczen fan, but this year has soured me on Ken a bit. When things don't go to plan he always seems to find a scapegoat to take the heat off himself. That is not always a good look.

I don't want to pass judgment on him until his career is over but I think it's highly suspect that Barcia obviously doesn't like him at Houston a few years back Marvin says they are not friends and also he is married to Ken Roczens x girlfriend.

Who the hell doesn't get a long with Marvin Musquin, the guy literally try's his best at everything.

I'm sure it was love and fait right but you have to admit that the x girlfriend thing sounds fishy and how did they know each other I want to know. I wouldn't just start talking to Ken Roczens x girlfriend if I'm a millionaire 250cc champion and stuff.

He definitely earned the championship this year. I don’t doubt that at all, but I have no idea why I don’t like him. Even right now, I can’t think of a solid reason why. Maybe it’s just stuff from the past I can’t vividly remember but left a bad impression.
He's an incredible racer and he is up there with RV and RC when it comes to his ability to pull things together on the worst nights...but he just seems like a terrible person. I don't know what he's actually like but his public persona is not something I would be proud of. In a sport where kids idolize the top guys..Cooper has some bad traits that I'm afraid will translate to younger generations.

Bubba gave us the Bubba Scrub...Cooper gave us finger pistols. He is about as cringy as Jake Paul at times.

Haha I think you nailed it..

I knew a few shorter kids growing up that always had the same chip on their shoulder that Cooper does. I'm not sure where Cooper's chip came from but he should just eat it and move on. It will be interesting to see how he ages. Who knows, maybe he will turn into a Chad Reed.

I was a big Webb fan on 250s. A lot less of a fan in the 450 years. Although, this year I've come to admire his raw speed and perservance. I love the mental games too. I used to do it in BMX to my competition.

On a side note, it's not usually until a rider retires that he is missed. I thought RV was boring just like people think Webb is boring. Now I go back and watch RV and the dude was an animal. So it's best to take it all in while a rider is active and admire the speed, skill, and talent.

Webb won't be popular with the fans till he goes to the MXON and helps team USA win. (like Carmicheal)

If it was anyone other than Roczen that he makes look bad at the end of races, I think more people would be fans.

Could have done without the Lady drama part as we all know but it's a pretty good summary of the racing incidents...



It would be interesting to see if a freak accident happens and Ken won the title. With a lot of the excuses etc if he somehow ended up with it you'd assume people would carry on with he doesn't deserve it, but between Cooper's face and Kenny's story it might not end up that way.

I just like the story, I really didn't think there was much difference between the bikes ability to win races, then this guy swaps and goes from being average (for a pro sx racer) to the champ instantly....

I don't like Cooper Webb! If I'm Cooper Webb and Ken Roczens X tries to hit me up, I'm not interested. Cooper Webb is a millionaire and I don't want the idea of my wife as Roczens X to be in my relationship and the fans will bring that up forever, why have that drama?... unless you instigated it

Webb is an amazing rider and the way he not only stalks and kills the competition, but even on bad days his last 5 laps are always at full charge. I just had a hard time getting over his piss poor jealous attitude of the Martin brothers when they were all at Star Yamaha together. He made several comments about them only being on the same team, but he came off absolutely jealous. I'm over it this season and his podium demeanor is more cool this season.
