Kenny had the perfect opportunity..

Kenny had a few great opportunities to park Webb, or at least run him wide.. what happened to “I like to play games too” kenny?
I feel like as soon as Webb comes up on him it’s all over, I really wanted to see Roczen get it done this year.

Why park him and not just straight up beat him?

He probably feels like he/team can find more before he has to go that route. It's probably coming though. ATL should be a "must see" and I'm lookin forward to it!

He's been physically destroyed and pieced back together. He's definitely not the rider he was before the two overhauls.

You're kidding right? Right now he's 2nd best in a stacked field. He's been beating Tomac.

It could be that Cooper is just better right now, and Ken knows it.

He won the same amount of 450 SX championships before the injury as after. Like it or not, he was always super fast but couldn’t get the job done in SX. Pretty much exactly how this year is going.

Yup Webb is beating everyone right now, just like Roczen was better than everyone early in the season.
Webb’s in the driver’s seat, but season’s not over until we see who’s better in the last part of the season. Shaping up to be awesome, let’s just hope it is.

This is true . To be fair though he still has a shot at this even though it will take a hell of a turnaround.

He had one opportunity coming out of the whoops which was highly risky. Webb and KTM are just lit right now.

It’s not worth the risk of getting tangled up and going down.

Agreed. Kenny is riding perfectly fine. They lapped up to 10th place on a 50sec lap track. Webb stepped it up around midway into the season.

Webb has put Ken in a box. Webb has out smarted him and now is out riding him all while never parking Ken. I'ts that simple and if Ken were to get physical that would look really bad on his part not to mention opening the door to retaliation.

Yea I was gonna say this too, webb has never even really made contact with Kenny this year. People still have their panties in a bunch over daytona? Coop passed kenny in the whoops where everyone said he sucks. Hes simply out riding Kenny (and the whole field).

After the first lap Kenny was first and cooper 2nd i said immediately that's it, cooper will win this. Kenny will run up front the hole race. Last couple of laps cooper will get him en Kenny will have nothing for him. You just know what's going to happen, coop knows it, Kenny knows it.

The season is over. Ken is always strong in the first half and falls off later in the season. This is worse in the outdoors. Unless webb wads himself hes going to be the champion. You can tell its his year

I realllly don't think it's a good idea for Ken to play cat and mouse with Coop, or to quote/unquote, start shit – but no one is going to begrudge Kenny a good old take out on Coop at this stage... and he literally had 3 opportunities in that race to just ruin him, weeks after telling the world he likes to play games.

I think it's a terrible idea, cause it might not work out great as it did in the past, but the fact that Coop presented him those opportunities without even hesitating means he knows he's not gonna do shit... and we all know Cooper isn't gonna roll over. Kenny has to take it... punching him off the track might have been a good start. The fat lady is fuckin mid-verse for sure.

Remember when Ken had sandman as his butt patch and then Eli destroyed him at Southwick? That must’ve killed his sand riding confidence as he couldn’t get thru that sand section for the life of him. If he could’ve done that section clean he probably could’ve won...

He's scared of Coop and, as Crush said, Cooper knows it.

Cooper did exactly what he needed to do at Daytona. Ran Kenny high in the second corner and it was able to park kenny back in the field to allow Webb to gain the points lead. Great thinking and race craft.

Webb is living in Kenny's head now, rent free. Kenny now knows that if Webb is behind him, it is just a matter of time, and that Webb will be pouncing. I think Saturday night, Cooper just hung out behind Kenny and then pulled the trigger and passed him. Once the pass was made, Kenny really had nothing for him.

Coop should park Kenny just cuz since he has not touched the 94 all year. At least then the fan boys would have a legit reason to complain.

Those first few laps I thought Ken was going to take the win, but when he couldn’t shake Webb I new it was going to be over for Ken.

This is the first time I thought Kenny might have a hitch in his limits, as with Marty Smith after broke his pelvis.

This seems more mental than physical though.

Kenny is an outstanding talent and has overcome a ton of adversity, no question. Like many people I would love to see Kenny add a Supercross title to his list of accolades, unfortunately I don't believe this will ever transpire.

KR94 will end up one of the most talented racers to never win a 450 Supercross title...

Kenny fought harder than I expected, and even came back up on Webb a little bit toward the end. Still, this title is now Webb's to lose.

I think it's both mental and physical that is making the difference between CW and KR late in races... KR rarely gets aggressive with other riders and rides within his limits and you can see why after the circumstances that lead to 2 nasty injuries. Can't believe KR's injuries haven't affected his hand/arm strength and it seems to show up late in races. Throw in a new family members for KR and ET and that alone can make you think differently, you want to raise your kid and have fun not end up in a wheel chair,.

The good thing is in general there is a very minute difference between the top riders and after 20+ minutes the top guys are within seconds of each other and it's good for us spectators and the sport.

During the last race, I was fully expecting Kenny to run Webb all the out to the Tuff blocks on the left hander after the whoops. Webb didn't close down on the inside line like I thought he would which totally left Kenny an opportunity to at least stick a wheel in there and see what happens, but Kenny shut off the gas early and let Webb around the outside.

My raw guess is simple arm pump.... when Ken is on, no arm pump... when he is running around outside the top 3, arm pump (I would say the same about et3 as well).. no doubt he wants it and is giving 100%.... but if he can't hold on at certain times due to prior injury, he just can't hold on....

Could Cooper just be faster than Roczen and not just mentally stronger BS?
Vital seems to pass that mental weakness token over from Eli to Roczen as their results vary.
Cooper starts behind Roczen, Cooper passes Roczen.
Cooper starts ahead of Roczen, Cooper gaps Roczen.

You could be plenty mentally tough and just get beat. It doesn't mean that Roczen has to take out Webb whenever he comes up on him to prove his mental toughness.
