At what point does Kawi sit him down about his riding? Dude races Tomac harder than anyone in the field and it’s BS if you ask me. Tomac and Kawi are in a championship battle. AC needs to check the ego.

Could it be his conditioning? He is blazing fast at the beginning of races but seems to fade.
I know in the off season he was having issues with his wrist (I think) so maybe he is racing himself back into shape..

That scooter doesn't seem to instill confidence in his racing abilities. If he was comfortable he would finish on the box more.

He had an off season surgery to fix some kind of numbing issue that happens 10 mins into the moto. Seems like it didnt work

His best lap time was a 47.69.

How many riders had better fastest laps?
KR - 46.64
JB - 47.34
ET - 47.03
AP - 47.34
MS - 47.35

So 5 riders had more pure speed than him....

Adam finished P6. What about this does not make sense? That is how fast he is.

Kenny and Eli have a lot more experience racing 450's at the highest level, and they are probably better at controlling their heart-rate while battling. At least AC is getting great starts consistently. In SX, that's half the battle. A few more races up front with the big boys of the class, and he will probably be able to control his adrenaline rushes much better and be fresher at the end of races.

Ulner nerve impingement. Ever slept on your arm then can’t feel your hand? Try racing top level soupy with that feeling x26-28 laps. Add in hip adductor/groin strain. He’s not slower than last year and everyone else isn't magically faster.

I don't get why everyone is giving him shit, if you watched the race you could clearly see he was having issues with his arm /arms in the race it was obvious as I noticed it and knew he was going to go backwards. You could see how stiff upright he was sitting and he was struggling to turn corners and he was front end high over all jumps semi goon style. I was really surprised they didn't mention it on broadcast with how bad he looked.

I love coming to Vital to see what the town idiots are saying daily. So one guy questions why AC is racing Tomac so hard? Really? Perhaps because it is round 5 of 17 and he is only 11 points behind him after round 5, it was less than that going into the race. These guys are on the same team, but no one is going to roll over and let Tomac by. AC is also racing for his title hopes. That is Tomac's issue to make a pass, not ACs.

AC has been more consistent than many others on the gate. He has had a 4, 12, 3, 4, and 6th place finish. One bad finish outside the top ten, and I believe he fell in that race.

So tell me again why Kawasaki should sit AC down and have a talk with him? And why does the guy NOT being paid to race motorcycles think he is throwing a boat anchor out when he is sitting 5th in points?

I had surgery on my ulnar nerve (ulnar nerve transposition) and the recovery time to get it back to normal can stretch out to 18 months or so. It's not a quick fix. Doc says it takes about an inch a month for the nerve to recover on it's own. Sometimes it won't be 100 percent recovery too.

Is there a line in his contract somewhere where is states to not race Tomac so hard??? His job is to win races, its not like he is making Eli crash.

In addition to his arm issue from the off-season, in the post-race interview he did with Matthes after Indy 1, he said he has been dealing with a strained adductor muscle in one leg, and I think this has been an issue the past 2 races. Not being able to squeeze the bike like normal on a crazy rutted track is pretty challenging.

As for him racing Tomac hard, come on man they are both still in it. AC is not paid to lay up.
