On the left is stock Yamaha fork tube without coating and on the right is stock Yamaha fork tube with DLC coating. Both have brand new oem seals and bushings. The difference in friction is huge

In 2019 Malcolm looked phenomenal through the woops. Was fasted bike on track at A1 then again in Phoenix til he crashed. Never looked as good in 2020 or 2021. Now he’s got a 2 year factory deal and he’s Aldons #1 guy. He probably has the most talent of anyone on the track and Aldon has a record of training the winning guy 10 out of the last 11 seasons. Malcolm Stewart this is his time to get it done! if he wins an early race, the floodgates will open.

Didn't you get the memo bro? Weight doesn't matter and nobody can ride an 5hp underpowered 125 to its potential anyways. The biggest difference between this and a KTM, a Husky, or a Yamaha is the color of the plastic. Oh and obviously the Suzuki will have a full Hinson Clutch because you saved so much money buying a Suzuki.Cool ...

I feel like having all those fast guys around to do motos, like When Ando, Zacho, and Webb were there definitely helped their early lap intensity in the races, and lowered their anxiety. It has to be easier come racetime when you've been practice racing with your competition all week, vs doing it solo like Tomac or K-Roc and just...

+1 All things being pretty similar, ergonomics is so important for the average rider. Also build quality is super important if you keep your bikes for a long time.

I personally cringe when I hear "pick a color." The bikes may all be good bikes now a days, but that still doesn't mean it's 1 size fits all. There are so many different characteristics that each bike has, which should be considered, in my opinion. The different way they handle, type of power, suspension, ergos etc all factor in, when I buy a bike. I just think if people know what works best for them, it can make for a much better choice than picking a color or just getting the shootout winner etc.

Zoom Liked a reply to forum topic Kawasaki Motorcycles To Be All Electric by 2035

I'm old school but love technology and love riding dirt bikes. I was also a Regional Manager at Alta and now work for Kawasaki. I'm willing to bet that every person that has a negative opinion about an electric motocross bike has never ridden one. The only way you are going to know if you like an electric motocross bike is the ride one. I started on a QA-50 to Z50 to racing an XR75 in 1973. Turned pro in 1980 and have had almost 100 bikes. The Alta was absolutely the most fun bike I have ridden. My reasons...

Gas powered bikes have 12-15 pounds of gas very high up on the bike. I could see electric bikes having a very low center of gravity, compared to gas bikes. Also, more equal racing with e bikes in the lower classes. I think most people would have a totally stock bike, considering that 'mods' would probably sacrifice range.
"I really think it's possible to make very, extremely safe nuclear."- Elon Musk July 2021 It will be interesting to see if Elon's comments spark new debate and legislation on this topic. He seems to have a rather large cult like following these days.
LONDON, July 14 (Reuters) - "The European Union on Wednesday proposed an effective ban on the sale of new petrol and diesel cars from 2035, aiming to speed up the switch to zero-emission electric vehicles (EVs) as part of a broad package of measures to combat global warming."
