Instead they'll focus on testing and getting ready for the nationals. Their hopes of defending the SX title this year are pretty much over, so why not get a headstart on the competition for the nationals? Makes sense to me.

Yeah, why would the teams want to protect their odds of winning an outdoor title, when they can put those guys both at risk, racing for zero chance of any title in Supercross because of an earlier injury? Hard to bag on MX Sports or even Feld over the last year. Neither of these promoters made any money running races without fans in attendance. No fans, so all of the event sponsors want a discount or rebate. And there are no television networks throwing $$$ to telecast the races. In the world of Sports, both Supercross and Motocross are very small. If Monster and Red Bull had a desire to grow the sport, they have the money and the marketing ability. You will never please everyone and thats just a fact. But to hate on tracks to have too many jumps? How many is too many? Or is it you dont have the guts to hit something bigger than 20ft? Also having long tracks with flowing natural terrain is a decent amount of up keep. Not to mention someone can hurt just as bad or worse in a rutted downhill/turn as a jump.
