Is everything ok with Marv? I had him pegged as a consistent podium threat. But the past few races have been rough for him. Obviously it’s a long season and only four races in so a lot can change. Maybe the field is deeper than I was giving it credit for and of course we are seeing how important the starts are in regards to finishing position.
I think he'll rebound.

He was last on laps 2 and 3, but rode to 10th. Great work.
I wouldn't doubt Marvin. He's pretty slick. And the crowd he's in is really impressive.
Bet he gets on the podium shortly.

Translation:
“I felt really good on the bike and throughout the evening with a second place in qualifying. Everything was going fine. I was really confident for the final. I was ready for the drop of the gate and it looks to me like Cianciarulo flinched, so I moved and the gate didn't fall as fast as it usually does. It ruined my start. I gave it my all in the first lap, but nothing went the way I wanted. I had to jump beside the track to avoid a rider who jumped completely across in front of me. I fell again and wasted a lot of time. From there I stopped thinking and tried to pass as many riders as possible before losing the front end again. I'm really disappointed because I felt like I could make a nice comeback and fight for a top-5 or even the podium. I could see it was tightening up at the front. We have two days off and I will be back to do my best! "
What amazes me is that Marvin has essentially been with Red Bull KTM for 13 seasons (2 in Europe in the rest in the US). That has to be a record. Most pro careers don't even last a decade, but Musquin has managed to essentially be on the same elite team for longer than that. Cheers to some serious longevity and brand loyalty!
So many crashes, lately...
