That spot was really hard for the rider's to make directional changes, the bikes wanted to push out right towards where he is running. Several rider's blew out the sand and ended up on concrete. He got lucky. Probably shat himself.

I was standing right next to the 74 yr old AMA flagger when Musquin's bike plowed into him. The bike flew by about a foot away from me, and we were all standing behind the barricades

If that guy tripped up and fell, Barcia would have ran him right over. Could not have been worse, in the sand and Barcia in the lead, you are getting ran over for sure.

I spoke with the guy's son, who was doing the start flag for the qualifiers, and he sad that Dad had a concussion and bruised ribs, but was able to drive himself home to Florida on Friday.

As I was standing there watching downstream, I felt something whoosh by me and saw #25 bike with no Marvin on it. It plowed right into the AMA flagger. The poor man did not move for at least 5-10 minutes, and I was very scared for him and said a prayer. Fortunately, he began moving and they took him away. He did not remember anything except being loaded into the Mule. He was 74 yrs old !
