4/28/2022 12:36pm I broke my neck Aug 2 2021 on a mountainbike. My Neurosurgeon was Dr Stark at Memorial-Herman Hosp. in Houston. I never thought I would walk again, but now, 9 months later I am riding again !

The most important safety feature is the rider's eye's. Whether there is a flag or not, they can see what is ahead the majority of the time. Flaggers and lights and radio's are not magic. There is a reaction time and the incident needs to be in your field of vision, it's impossible to be looking everywhere at the same time. It's racing and it's dangerous, and not all downed rider's will be protected by some kind of warning, luckily most are. The rider's ignore most of the flags anyway. I yellow flagged all 3 rounds in Houston this year...

That was a long time ago, and I have heard that most contract companies are looking for NCCER certifications over the degree.
